If Ball goes to Collingwood it will make sick. No club should be bullied by Ball if he is the best available he should be chosen cause we may as well scrap trading cause free agency will be here. He is definately worth a pick between 11 and 20, I can't see him going past 16 Ball has stuffed up big time. What ever happens to Ball happens but what the Melbourne must do is keep Connors away from our kids. Conners only cares about his commission, he is a joke. The sad thing is when the draft is over most of the media coverage will centre around Ball if he doesn't go to Collingwood, they will go on about free agency again when the media should be focusing most of their attention on Scully and Trengove. Firstly he said that he won't stand in his way if Ball said that he didn't want to go to the club. Secondly I was hoping that the media had got it wrong about Ball going to to the ND like they did with Davey when they wrote that he was gonna walk out but that doesn't seem to be the case. I don't understand why he wouldn't talk to more clubs before he goes into the ND considering Collingwood don't get a pick until pick 30. Connors has made us look like the most unattractive club in the developed world twice now. I'm sick and tired of the circus he conducts only to be let down time and time again cause everybody thinks we are a joke. He likes taking pot shots at other clubs about time clubs started doing it to him. The Ball saga has been a farce from start to finish.

Bailey is obsessed with the draft but at least they will want to be there that is the main thing even though they will more likely to never get a regular game. Get used to these high picks cause we will never replace the Newton's with proven players cause they will never want to come here.

Bailey has stuffed this up good and proper. He gave Ball the option of not coming to the club and he took it. No surprises there, reading Connelly's comments on the saga I know that I would prefer him to coach us. Bailey has either cost us a proven midfielder or a up and coming youngster. Hopefully the media has got it wrong and he hasn't nominated for the draft yet, it wouldn't be the first time. Ball was supposed to stay at the Saints and Davey was going to walk out on the club only to sign the next day. If Ball has nominated for the draft Bailey is 100% to blame.

No it didn't. If Ball can't stand St.Kilda\Ross Lyon and it is impossible for him to stay at the club and the only club that can get him is Melbourne no matter what I don't think he would be saying I don't want to go to this club but now he has the option cause Melbourne will not stand in his way. Does anyone seriously think that he will try and ruin his career by playing poor football just because he doesn't got to his desired club? I would think not or the players won't be happy cause he's there. I would have thought they would be happy to get the best players at the club which is something that we can't get because any footballer who can play a bit don't want to come to us. Only players on their last chance want to come to us.
