Every club is struggling now BBP. Saints struggling to keep the lights on. Even the powerhouses. Richmond losing tens of millions after boosting resources following success. Melbourne one of a few clubs last year that didn't need AFL assistance so suspect we're still better off than most but the NT game will net us 1 million. I hate it and don't want us to go but I sympathise with the decision. Interstate clubs have won flags off the back of 4-5 weeks on the road across the end of the season and finals. We can do it. But I don't think we will, and it will be the hot topic when we're knocked out of finals. Hope to be proven wrong.

I'm highlighting the reality and why the club made the choice. I'm not agreeing with it.

And then back to.Melbourne and then to Darwin. Mark my words, we're going to tumble out of the finals and the discussion is going to be centred on our decision to make money vs staying in Victoria and establishing some stability leading into finals.

I don't want it in Darwin but it would be 16k-20k in Melbourne for a loss vs 8k in Darwin for an 800k windfall.

When and where are we playing ffs? I need to plan my weekend.

It's massive hyperbole. When you start the season 10-0 then obviously if you're 13-1-4 you have only won 3 of 7. lol if you look at it another way, we have won 13 of 18 and only lost 4. It's not been a great month and a bit dating back to the Pies game but our wins against Bombers and Port were really good. We should have pumped Hawthorn and GWS is unpredictable. If we don't smack GC this week which we will then I'll start thinking the wheels have fallen off.

We will [censored] the Suns and Crows. The run to finals really starts now. We can lock away a top 4 spot with three wins against three teams we should undoubtedly beat. If we miss the top 4 from here it'll be up there with 2004. Actually it'll be up there with the entire Daniher era post 2000.

Was a solid game of footy, awful umpiring aside. Dogs are a great team, we ran them off the field at Marvel and they beat us in a good contest at the G. We played okay but tbf I don't rate us as a top 4 side. We are thereabouts with Port imo and could go either way. Lions will make their way into top 4.

We're not winning this but we have competed well. Hate to say it but umpires have definitely influenced outcome.

End of the day if we lose tonight it's not surprising but losing to deadbeat sides and drawing against the worst team in the league pretty much relegated us to 5th spot.
