So, if we trade out Tyson, and Oli were to get hurt, we need inside ability. We shouldn't maintain the list that skinny,,, that we have no cover. I think Hannebury can be very handy,,, and with Tyson on the outer, and Jones running on fumes. We would lack class inside, in those circumstances. And we aren't as strong inside, as we like to think we are. We're strong, but not the strongest. We are amongst the other good inside mid-fields. Yes.... we need outside run, but we need speeeed, more than any other run. If we can guarantee we win the clearances,,, and get the ball out to our quick's, we will win way more than lose. We do not want to pay too much Lira to any one player. Unless a DShiel or JKelly bobs up. .

Anyone would think he's on drugs or something! Hannebury has been a topliner.

Would you think Hannebury better than Tyson?

We cannot afford every uncooked star. We need some maturity that is cooked, that's still resting. prior to dinner. This sort of mature talent helps guide us and maintains some cap space for the the near future for those who become available. We DO NOT want to lockup all our finances on one or two players,,, who may, or may-not be worthy.

    so lets get him.

didn't Murphy commit to the blues? ooh, disagree Werri. Why do you say that? I'd prefer Hannebury,,, unless you know something I don't?

a wee but tall, to become a dangerous rover.

    We do, we certainly do.
  10. ... not before the bye, we want a bye after our NT game. July is my bet.
  11. Hannebury... wow wowee OK, maybe Sloane isn't avail to us? If we can get Hannebury, and get him right, he'll be better than that other 'bury'. P'''bury
  12. I think they're in a position to have to trade unhappy players,,,, for some 'mature leaders', and other mature GOF's... They need leaders, like we need pace. What they'd give for a Nathan Jones up there. They need leaders... quality.
  13. no problem with Gaff finding the ball, or his gut run... as I said, I like the boy. I'm just not hooked on him BUT I think he may be too expensive, for watt he deelivers. I think the thing we really need is more speed and x-factor, amongst our mids. I think If we have Gaff, either ANB or Harmes goes. and certainly Tyson cannot be in a team with these guys, and Gaff. As far as gut run goes, these guys plus others we are developing, will cover the ground.
  14. No, but I do not FEEL the connection with paper letter writing, It bores me, it leaves me cold, and so have no interest in it. Also I have no faith in those who are at the top table; making the dee-cisions. Present board accepted; to this point. I much prefer talking to the masses, and the ordinary folk.... and not the 'politically correct',,, 'stinkers and movers'_ Ha !
  15. Don't need to, they all read the forums. And since I'm not an office worker, and have a distaste of formalities, and writing and text. Its not my way. Trust me the word gets back. Haven't you noticed,,,, the welcome game, and many other things, are all born from ideas on forums.
  16. That is all good and I agrree with sentiment BUT, this is not the best place to Grow this club. This whole exercise is nothing to do with History,,, and is meant to be all about growing the club again. Yarra Park Nth, is too far off the track, for daily punters. Revenue going to waste, leaving from Richmond Station. .
  17. Of course they are, watts your point. DeGoey is a Mid and H/Fwrd with speed and X factor. Even if re-contracted he is the type we're lacking. Gaff is a distance runner who finds space and time, which allows him to be able to kick. But he won't find that same space as often, in big finals games. DeGoey doesn't require much time or space to be damaging. This is why he is more dynamic.
  18. We do need more endurance Wtm... BUT we NEED pace much much more. We have too many one paced types throughout... we need 2 or 3, quicker than one paced players, in our 22. Gaff as another endurance player, is way too expensive, just for the elite endurance. I would clearly have DeGoey ahead of a Gaff. We don't need the fastest and 2nd fastest players in the comp.... but we do need a few quick players, that have breakaway tow. more than anything else. And I do not subscribe to one dimensional quick's, like jeffy. They MUST be able to roll up the sleeves and dive under packs with a smile,,, as well as be a goer on the outside, when they're in that position.
  19. We win in the Alice as well.
  20. No we don't. We lack running mids who go. we lack pace and foot skills. But we do not want or need pure outsiders. see garlett.

apparently, He wants to be a Millionaire? who's in the 'Millionaire hot Seat' ?
  22. energy and agility I would say 'W', with intensity. Quick stepping players we need, and also top speed players as well
  23. IMO, Its not about the people that are following, so much blzb. But about attracting others who aren't,,, by opening the club up to all. Particularly the public transport users of the East and Sth East. Purely as the starting point. And IMO, we want as many patrons flocking from games to the new HQ's after games, to celebrate, and to spend. And then after, all they have to do after is step outside;,, and they are either at the tram stop or the train station... if the Richmond Station is the option. Jolimont will NOT do this for the masses.
