  1. I hope that is all it is 'ET'... as I'm concerned about our level of teamwork and flowing form. I don't care about not winning the game, but our form over two JLT matches. Agreed 'wwsw'... I'd like to see May change his blocking method. so to not risk missing games in future.
  2. I agree 'DD'. This echoes old Melbourne, we have to break out of this, thinking we can just flick the switch and take off. This is lazy type footy habits. We have a game against Port in which we don't have any exposed good form going in, and then a BIG Game at the cattery in which THEY will be ready to unleash all they have on us. IF we do not find form against Port, we could be in trouble visiting Geelong. Potentaially we could drop the Rnds 1 & 2 games. That would be a very bad start, in an ever more even competition. .
  3. I didn't realise it was on TV. The CH7 advertising is poor for AFLW imo. I saw the last 5 mins or so. Number 10 & 22 helped us get the ball back forward again, and tall No1 did the job. We have some speed in the side.
  4. What p-mann. Was it silent, but Deadly ?
  5. Frost should play I think against Port if Ryder plays. Frost to give Max a chopout in the ruck. He can come on from the bench, with our Mids resting forward this year. Frosty's pace will be handy thru the midfield area, whilst Tall Maxy hangs out deep forward, for a juicy long bomb.
  6. Yes, he leans forward, weight going toward the oncoming player, and May starts to stretch up on his toes. Shoulder clips chin, just. A fine I think is all its worth. No damage done your honour.
  7. I would prefer May to go in low on the block, hunched over, to stop the runner going by him. He will get caught out again, some time with his method. A good chance of missing games in the future.
  8. It was never going to be 6 weeks... even if a broken compound fracture. Worst would have been two weeks... for the skin to heal (Re infections) and for the pin and bone to mold into the break, so as to take the loads of AFL He still may not be right next week (if things don;'t go well)... but will be fine for the next one. It might even be smarter if he does not 'tag' next week (not so much tackling next week)... ahead of the Cats game and his reunion with Joel Selby, feeding the ducks down by the Pusssy Willow.
  9. Hi 'UfdD', can I ask, how did you get the game live in Europe.
  10. Lack of effort, workrate. Attitude is a concern. Port will tear us another one, if we turn out like the past 2 JLT games.
  11. I sense he's over-trying... trying to force himself to the next level. This will make himself fumble, trying to be too slick. Let it happen lad, don't force it.
  12. don't you mean marcus smart reminds you of Nev Jetta ?
  13. No. Compound dislocation means 'dislocated bone' has broken thru the skin. Compound fracture means a 'broken bone' has broken thru the skin. His could be either, if it has gone thru.
  14. That will be 2 weeks, I reckon.
  15. one week out from AFL season... we've got a bit to do.
  16. play safe, lose form, and struggle with confidence. ... and injuries can happen from playing not on instinct. This IS the game we should be showing our form... running into the H&A season. And they haven't turned up to play. Tthey've turned up, to not get out of the team. Too many around here, saying don't get injured, hurts the players psyche. Tthis is why we are struggling. Yet Tracca is trying hard, because he has a burning arrse, from the fire put under him.
  17. Watt do you think happens... when players go into a game, and play to not get injured. ????
  18. attitude going into, preparing for this game
  19. Tracc has a little fire burning under his backside, this year.
  20. Frost 2nd ruck, off the bench. speed.
  21. Hadn't ya heard ? ... groin bone's connected to da, Toe bone. ? www.youtube.com/watch?v=SN--atshVqs ?
