The Jack Viney Made Me Cry Thread
and that's what I'm hoping for, by mentioning it here. If the tone we spread, is a bit cautious; hopefully that will aid the team in its quest to win again against a team on its knees atmo. The Crows didn't turn up on this weekend gone, and that's what I'm cautioning against, for us this week. They had prepared for the game in Alice. The game yesterday was sapping, and I hope we do not have a let down, this week. Preparation or not.

The Jack Viney Made Me Cry Thread
He's been building, and building his tank. same with ANB. Add some form into the team, and they all start to shine. We are up and away atmo. Some of the guys looked like tiring late in the 2nd Qtr; physically feeling the heat, and some mental errors later on after half time, from some experienced players from fatigue, including TMc. I have to see out the game yet. But it was a very good clinical win. And the crows didn't show up, or we dindn't let them. Our intensity was very good. A danger game coming up against a struggling side that we should beat, and will be expected to beat. That makes it a danger game, because of our recent mental attitudes in these type games.

Adelaide’s Tom Lynch
We should be breaking bread with all of them, just for a chat. Check the weather with them.

Adelaide’s Tom Lynch
Lynch isn't quick enough for the way the game is heading. We have so many players of his pace and size. We need more athletic diversity in our list. Class runners who play both on the inside and outside. One out there is a free agent. Not sold on Gaff. He is a very good player, but I wonder IF We,,, can do better. He hasn't been a complete player in his career. Only now is he doing the other bits of the game. Why only now?

Injury List - Season 2018
I would like to see what he's like, in our new team and attitude.

Adelaide’s Tom Lynch
I do not want to lose Weide. I believe he will be our tall forward/follower as he grows his game. A beaut kick as well. And a powerful mark around the ground, who will crash packs and bodies, like his GrandPa.

Adelaide’s Tom Lynch
Sloane is more of what we need imo. over Lynch. A swing player similar to the mold of Steven May would be handy, but I wonder if TSmith could do that ? I think Smith is potentially very handy player.

Jordan De Goey
And we should be doing likewise... talk him up DJ. The pies also want Lynch. And no doubt, quietly would like Gaff as well. And we should be into all of them,,,, until we see where the lye of the land is.

Do we really need Gaff? or would it/we be better, with a HF/Mid, who has a touch of magic inside the 50 ? Think StevieJ.

Adelaide’s Tom Lynch
Yes, I would. He fits the age bracket we need more leadership within. Sloane of Lynch. would be good. Adding gaff would help our gut running area. Three seems to be a few coming up Re possible shifts. IMO, in four years time we will have a lot of pressure on our salary cap. More-so then than now. Getting these mature players will serve us well, as long as they are potent winners. But we need to hold our picks as much as possible, so we have young talent ready in 4 years time, to start their AFL careers.

Your right Earl. The difference I think is, these types are gamblers/risk takers, which is what makes them above the others. They'll have a red hot dip. Think Lockett. rough cut gem. Gablett snr. Te Robbie Flowers are extremely rare. and we very nearly rejected him. Our supporters IMO have reduced down to almost all, of similar cut jibs, conservative non risk taking styles. In that embarrassment weighs heavier in their minds than being successful. Not wanting to take these risks on rough cuts types, for FEAR of embarrassment, and going against the clean club, 'mantra'. Re De Goey, I have no idea how or if we could afford him, but from what I've seen we need a player on wing half-forward like him. With his quick agile moving, and clean thinking/reacting. He is dynamic.

That was my thought a couple of days ago DaG. But on 2nd thoughts I don't know that he IS a DH. He is possibly a fired up creative type with aggression... a little like a Toby Greene. Every club needs a dynamo, like that. My thinking has changed since a couple of weeks back, when he first hit the headlines. We are too conservative by fault, too often. We need to take more risks, to get to the top.

you don't think De Goey could add anything to us? scorn isn't your best suit et.

I would too. The young fella might turn, into a Follower. worth the risk.

What price? Is their any way we could get this player into rednblue ?

Dylan Shiel
We'll be paying very close to this for Gaff, if he comes our way. Maybe we would be better going after RSloane this year; and aiming at DShiel in the 2019 free agency?

He's given everyone a hint of his wares Now people have something witnessed to believe in. My Christmas stocking is very satisfied, from a couple of years back. But this years 2018 Xmas stocking is still empty so far. It wants a running mid signed sealed & delivered. I'd prefer one of Tex's ! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r2F4K7nbcgs
