There is a role for Bugg
I think your right Farmer. And i think this will happen mostly, after Bernie is finished, and also Lew. At the moment Buggy needs to keep working on his engine, and his hand finesse; and composure with ball in hand.

Angus Brayshaw
I put it to you that TMc since mid last year has doubled his value. So I say his past years were maybe half what he's worth, in the past 12 months. Point is TMc was good enough to sign on Mid season, and not hold the club to any sort of Free-Agency ransom, which he could have done. Lets see what Brayshaw is made of. There may be less in the Mfc piggy-bank come end of season.... Angus.

Losing Jack Viney
Repetitive sharp impact, normally; one sudden impact might do it, but IMO that would be extremely rare. Viney is having numerous stress fractures since mid last year as have others so I would look to the weather and dry grounds as we have been quite dry in the time-frame. Recent rainfall does not mean the grounds have softened sufficiently. The ground may be water resistant by now. Too many stress fractures Re our players,,,, for the training surface Not to be in too hard a condition.

The Clarry Pass
Clarry has a good way to go, yet. see fritsch, and add about 85% improvement still.

Angus Brayshaw

Losing Jack Viney
ah ffs. One game doesn't do it its a repetitive stress injury to the bone. eg: training

Losing Jack Viney
Stress fractures creep up on you. I got one over an old nastily broken Tibia injury site,,, when training again 15 years after the injury. Once it's sore, its already injured and it's an issue. Until its sore, you naturally think all is fine.

Losing Jack Viney
somebody... grab your garden spade and head down to Gosch's Paddock when no training... and push into the soil and lever back, opening the ground. to see & check the depth of moisture in the soil !!! Do this in a number of different places over the field, to check for an average of soil moisture penetration. If the moisture penetration is only shallow, then we need to water the field repeatedly. To soften the ground.

Mr Jones
I wonder if Gold Coast or other blue club is into his head; wanting him as a leader ?

Casey Demons v Footscray VFL - Round 15
Cory Wagner has been looking ok... but I cannot stop being reminded of Sylvia. I hope he turns out a hard worker and disciplined.

Round 17 Non MFC Games
It's not Bolton, its been there for an eternity (turn of the century)... that stink comes from deep under the Elliot Stand. Don't know whats under there. Anyway the powers of Lygon want all the class they can afford. Even hiding young guns away from the team, resting. Whilst they remain under the GC Sun. Guess we'll know soon enough, who wins the Lukosius Cup ! .

Bernie keen to lure Sloane to the Dees
why?

Bernie keen to lure Sloane to the Dees
That's it. And if after 3 yrs, the Crows tell Sloane, "they cannot guarantee him a seniors game for the next 2 yrs", as others have moved ahead of him... Sloane possible could decide to retire. Especially with the dollars vastly dropping in the last 2 years of said contract. I wonder, IF our recent 3 losses in a row, altered his thinking on leaving them?

Billy Stretch - Stress Fracture / Toe
Surface soil moisture may only be the top 1cm? Someone should check down there to see how firm the ground is at Gosch's, someone take a spade down there to check how far the moisture has penetrated the soil surface. I know billy has been playing mostly at Casey; I doubt Casey Fields is rock hard ??? ah, the big little toe. What a bummer with Billy... just when the side needs some toe, he's out of it.

Nup, Anthony I'm assuming ? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anthony_McDonald_(Australian_footballer) I agree 640, it would be a great surprise to see Jnr Mc, back with the club. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_McDonald_(footballer)

Billy Stretch - Stress Fracture / Toe
I wonder if the drought conditions have had an impact. I'm in Sth Gippsland and noticed the long grass has browned off and died back. No need to slash and mow. The lack of water on the ground is effecting many things. I'm sure it would be as dry in Melbourne... and Gosch's. Lets have to paddock watered, to soften it up a bit.

Angus Brayshaw
So we may one-day, get Zac Jones to the Dees ? ?

Happy 160th Birthday Melbourne Football Club
Lets aim the finger more accurately.... & your right, the club has been a let down and this must stop.............. the direction of the club. ... its decision makers ARE to Blame... for any club to be down for 50Yrs without success is a disgrace on the decisions done at control level and something very bad with the culture,,, which was seemingly rarely ever tackled.. PUN intentional.
