  1. I can see a loss coming, if our noise is traveling too far ahead, of the competition immediately before of us. Lower the eyes guys.
  2. I would say, its your unlucky Hat; to get pooped on. Irrespective to that, we won anyway, as we don't believe in such things... wipe it down with Hawk feathers, next week.
  3. Great calling by Bryan... he's been becoming very good at calling this year. His old child, seems to have left the building. Well done BT__ PS: SWYL, would you be able to slo-mo this action piece, around when Hannan and Henderson are competing for the free ball... and the hand contact from Hanan?? Is that possible ?
  4. Krock potty. following the pusssie cats
  5. Whately, a good calling voice, for Radio footy. Excellent caller, who could follow Bruce's career. Just keep him away from comments, and rules of the game, Please... He would have us all playing netball... whilst the Girls play footy. Can't hack him, early Sunday mornings.
  6. Yeah, that's what I interpret, when I think smalls. That break away pace to gap opponents... and also equally important, is the agility to turn direction quickly, on a 6pence. - (see Spargo) Changes direction of play, spots targets in good positions. He upsets the flow of Oppo' defenders trying to cover us,,, by changing the angle of the ball entry, going into F50.
  7. Spot on CBF. We needed more coachable experience inside the contest straight away. (enter Tyson)... and we needed a skilled running player with work ethic. Salem was the one available. I agree about Yze. Salem has him covered for work rate and grunt,,, hard at it. Our players were so spoilt back then... got away with murder, they did.
  8. Just on 68 games now... so he knows the game, and how to handle its bumps. that's the difference now, this year. Just look at this link and check the players, with games between 50 & 70 AFL matches. https://www.footywire.com/afl/footy/tp-melbourne-demons?year=2018&sby=13
  9. Were Ok against structured offenses, but mosquito fleets break structures down. This is why I've been banging on for a few years now, about recruiting some quick hard smalls. Spargo's one. Salem isn't too bad for a flanker,, developing. JKH is handy, but not quite there in speed imo? I think we need 4 quick hard smalls in any ideal 22... not counting our Nevs and Salems. at this stage
  10. Grinter was highly skilled in the air, and by foot. And could hit an opponent at the same time he was clutching an overhead mark.
  11. Judd was, I think, talking about on the ground, after the game. I'm not talking about hard celebrating,,, Enjoy It... But wanted to warn about celebrating too long on this win, and looking back... and not readying for the next challenge, leaving this game well behind. This is what I was getting at. Monday night should be the end of this one, hopefully. .
  12. The chaos ball inside our backhalf is what concerns me; against Hawks and Tigers.
  13. Ok... I thought someone must have paid him, to do the job. I checked jonydee80's site. he's got some great works. love it.
  14. Now i see. Not being negative mono. I just want us to show due respect and not get ahead and become the front runners of old. Arrogance is only an intruder. Don't fall for that trap. respect allows us to be ready... cockiness only leads to poor preparation & failure. Also we do not want to get 'too high', too far from the big game. business as usual, this week.
  15. what a talent that artist is. Love his work. and his instagram site with fantastic art.
  16. your right Mono. forgot about that. Well, he seems to be getting fatigued;,,, but it was said more about getting speed into the side, for the Hawks match-ups. Thing is, who to let out.
  17. oh, haha... sorry clint, I shouldn't have quoted you. i was sending a message to the artist.
  18. Yep I think a good match-up of sides. It'll be an interesting game. Roughy could trouble our defenders. clever.
  19. My impression is he gets to good spots when he hasn't the ball, to receive or to defend,,, and he has a go. he positions to receive & relieve pressure from our ball carrier, and then spots targets. I don't understand his stats, but from what my eyes see, he's a beauty. Our forward half seems to function well when hes in. no, opposition.
  20. I'd like to see one with flames. please?
  21. apoet lawyer, & didn't know it. nice.
