Records this year.
We've seen in another thread that Jake has the most Intercept Marks EVER in a H&A season. Other than that this season we have... Max Gawn - 1st for hitouts, =2nd for contested marks Tom McDonals - =6th for goal asists Fritta - =7th in the coleman with 47! (Just ahead of Dixon, Daniher and Darling) Christian Petracca - 1st for Inside 50's, 1st for score involvements, 6th for centre clearances, 9th for metres gained, 10th for clearances, 11th for stoppage clearances Jake Lever - 1st in intercepts, 9th for 1%ers AND Clayton Oliver - 1st for contested possessions, 1st for clearances, 1st for stoppage clearances, 5th for total disposals, 5th for centre clearances, 6th for score involvements, 7th for effective disposals, 12th for tackles. Looking at that, it's been a hell of a year for a lot of these guys.

Jake Lever Take A Bow
So given he played every game, that would also be the highest total intercept marks in a H&A season. Just putting that out there.

POSTGAME: Rd 23 vs Geelong
They ran out of gas. There's a reason Scott keeps wanting shorter games. He has the oldest list by a fair whack. They can't match the fitter sides for four quarters.

POSTGAME: Rd 23 vs Geelong
Just a side-note. They were talking last week about the record for the most intercept marks in a season. I'm pretty sure Jake Lever has just smashed it with another seven today. That gives him a season average of over 4 per game.

POSTGAME: Rd 23 vs Geelong
Clarry really does will the ball into his hands. When we need him to step up he seems to find a way to get hold of it. I've been pretty critical of his goal-kicking, but he's still winning us games even if he doesn't hit the goals as often as he should. I've loved his last few weeks.

How good was that interview with Trac? What a legend.

POSTGAME: Rd 23 vs Geelong
Trac in tears being interviewed on the boundary. Loves the club.

Damn. I can't believe that happened. Gawn is a beast.

Games Lost to Best 22
We also use the substitute less than other sides, which is obviously linked to this stat.

Will Nathan Jones get a farewell game?
I wouldn't be surprised to see him named Sub in the GF if we make it.

What are the odds of them calling it a draw? 😝

GAMEDAY: Rd 21 v West Coast
Kozzie has been scragged every time he gets anywhere near the ball. They never holding the man for him.

GAMEDAY: Rd 21 v West Coast
Goal to the umps to start Q2

GAMEDAY: Rd 21 v West Coast
Interesting quarter. We looked good to start but then the umpires started to exert a bit more control on the game and swung it the home team's way.

Welcome to Demonland: Taj Woewodin
Pretty sure it's yes on both counts. Fortunately there are enough clubs with strong ties to AFL house who are expecting FS picks in the near future that they haven't changed those rules just yet.

My 3 word player analysis V Hawthorn
Three word summary of that game? Free kick Hawthorn.

CASEY: Rd 13 vs Werribee
I wonder if there's a bit of succession planning going on for when May retires? Give him a couple more years to grow into his body and develop skills and we might have a new FB.

CASEY: Rd 13 vs Werribee
I haven't seen much of Casey this year, but he just didn't seem to do much today. Maybe I wasn't paying attention at the right times? I saw one nice centre break from him. Still, to me he seems to have stagnated a bit and there are a lot of players ahead of him on our list.

CASEY: Rd 13 vs Werribee
Just got to that on the stream. Awesome play from Baker. If only he could do that more often we'd see him in the seniors every week.

CASEY: Rd 13 vs Werribee
Fourth game and first six goals for the club.

CASEY: Rd 13 vs Werribee
Hard to see those two getting another contract sadly. I think they've been well and truly left behind.

Ellison is interesting. Only 20, probably a little undersized to play as a KPF at AFL level, but could develop into a utility type maybe. I suspect he'd need to work on his speed to make that fly.
