Everything posted by KC from Casey

  1. Five minutes in and Nev Jetta marks and kicks his second for the quarter. Three point game.
  2. Tim Smith marks and ... gets it. It's back to 9 points.
  3. Those who want to know who's doing well - the answer is nobody. That quarter was as poor a quarter that I've seen at Casey since the alignment began. They have the scoring end but the Dollies have their tails up. The better players are the unfashionable ones - Rodan and Magner. Jimmy T and Sammy B are doing OK but most struggled that quarter.
  4. Frankston now 22 points in front after their 7th for the term. There goes the siren and its Frankston 9.6.60 to Casey 5.8.38. The Dolphins have all the momentum and the wind isn't strong enough to save the Scorps.
  5. Another to Frankston who lead by 14 points. There's no spirit in this Casey team.
  6. Dolphins get a long goal, their fifth for the quarter and now lead 46 - 38.
  7. Casey kicking short and indirect. Frankston going straight down the guts with the wind. Now lead by 1 point.
  8. Scores level after eight minutes. Casey in trouble.
  9. Another Frankston goal from the boundary and there's only one kick in it.
  10. Another goal to Frankston and the game comes alive. Margin now 2 goals.
  11. Dolphins open the second half with a goal from the boundary after a controversial free for deliberate out of bounds.
  12. Half time: Casey Scorpions lead 5.8.38 to 2.2.14 in a game of defences. Goals: Magner 2 Best Matthews Rodan The absence of Jesse Hogan is clear and obvious with nobody on the forward line able to take control with the big grab in the packs.
  13. Rodan marks and goals from 50. Lead out to 23 points.
  14. Twenty minutes in and Casey leads 4.5.29 to Frankston 2.2.14.
  15. A long kick from Jake Best rolls through the goals.Casey 4.2.26 to Frankston 2.1.13.
  16. Magner marks and goals & the lead's out to 7 points.
  17. Quarter Time: Casey Scorpions 2.2.14 lead Frankston 2.1.13 Goals: Magner Matthews Magner and Rodan getting plenty of it around the ground but otherwise it was a game of defences. Sam Blease put in a few nice runs out of defence and Max Gawn is doing well in the ruck and around the ground.
  18. Mark and goal to Kyle Matthews gives Casey the lead by a point moments before the siren. Casey Scorpions 2.2.14 to Frankston 2.1.13.
  19. Goal to the Dolphins puts them in front 12 - 7 after 17 minutes. They're kicking with the wind.
  20. Scorps level with a goal from a nice mark in front from James Magner.
  21. First blood to the home team after a ruck infringement against Max Gawn. Frankston 1.0.6 Casey 0.0.0.
  22. Sunny with a swirly wind here at Frankston Oval. Frankston Development League team overran Casey Scorpions in the final term to win by 25 points. 2013 AFL Victoria Development League Casey Scorpions 2.3.15 4.4.28 9.7.61 9.8.62 Frankston 2.214 5.6.36 6.7.43 12.15.87 Goals Casey Scorpions Anderson Lindsay 2 Hughes Petropoulos Plummer P Rosier Troutman Frankston Bosward Giobbi Morrow 2 Bailey Cooper Haretuku Kennedy Rolfe Sykes Best Casey Scorpions Lindsay Waters Roberts Fowler Petropoulos Rosier Frankston Haretuku Bosward Cooper Cunningham Rolfe Sykes
  23. This week the Scorpions have a must win battle ahead of them against the much improved Dolphins at the picturesque Frankston Oval by the bay. There's no Jesse Hogan (planned rest week) but James Magner retains his place in the side although it was thought he might be promoted to play for Melbourne after being uplifted from the rookie list.
