Now I know it should be positive thoughts and all, but having Nicholls, Williamson and Findlay all umpiring ****cough conspiring cough**** against us makes it all the harder to win tomorrow night. Its a who’s who of umpires you don’t want officiating in your match, and we hit the jackpot.

Seriously consider going to watch a local game of footy. It is a world away from AFL (a very good thing imo) and can be extremely cathartic. There is a real sense of beauty to grassroots footy, it’s the way the game is meant to be played. Might I suggest you come down and watch Fish Creek! Never a dull moment and you won’t regret it 😝.

This tells me that the players are trying, just working with a broken system. Coach needs to make changes to game plan or be changed himself. We’ve had the same assistant coaches with no fresh ideas for 3 years now, time for a change. Keep the status quo if we want to keep accepting mediocrity.

I think some tough love is well overdue. None of this mollycoddling cr@p. They are big boys earning big money. If they can’t stand the heat, get out of the kitchen. A good old fashion rocket will have either a good or bad response, but at least it will be a response of some kind.

He’s too lazy a player at the moment when it comes to reading and reacting to the play. How many times that half was he in the wrong position? Get the ball to 20m out with BB bringing it to ground, then have the smalls crumb it, ffs. It isn’t that hard.

This is the reason why Port winning last night was good for us. We are not top 2 material. if we make top 4 and things don’t change, it’s only because we’d have fallen in.
