If I wasn’t such a Demon tragic, I’d be done with AFL. The game now is nothing to what it once was, when the outcome was decided by the 2 teams on the field. Nowadays, HQ the umps and even the media have just as much of an influence on a result.
Still can’t buy themselves a win, even with the advantage of having 21 to 18 on the field. I would say that it is becoming farcical with the leg up the Dogs get each week, but it is now well beyond that.
It is fraudulent what is continually happening, and the AFL is complicit as they refuse to accept reality and continue to turn a blind eye to it. Instead, they’re trying to whitewash the game with this umpire respect bs.
Dogs midfield is an over glorified accumulation machine. Sure they get lots of it, but have virtually no hurt factor. They must all have themselves in their AFL fantasy teams.
Don’t they say that 80% of communication is non verbal. Arms out has to be allowed. So long as it’s simply asking a question and not overly demonstrative, it has to be allowed.
AFL overreaching yet again.
So I guess in continuing with their culture, it will be delivered late and over budget. Better than nothing I guess, which is what we’d get under a Liberal government.
It’s getting to a stage where players aren’t even able to communicate with umpires. If that’s the case, as it appears to be at the AFL’s discretion, umpires should not be able to talk to players’ then either.
Respect needs to go both ways, but what HQ is trying to achieve is not respect, it’s authoritarianism. Dangerous game they’re planning.
Just been said during 1/2 time break that AFL HQ are ticking off the Harris Andrew’s arms out 50 and want the umps to pay more of them. FMD.Talk about putting the umps on a pedestal and above the game 🤬
Such a shame the power were unable to do a 2008 Melbourne and come back from 50 points down.
Blues look good when they’re up and about, but lose the plot at the first sign of resistance.
If they haven’t, maybe they should get some heart transplants. Still reckon they are suffering from that PF debacle.
Pres needs to walk with the coach, IMO.
