I think we got shell shocked and went back to old habits. Ive said this before (and been proven wrong), but if we play slow contested footy and continue to bomb it in to our F50 we will struggle again this year. We are great defensively but terrible offensively. Brisbane exposed our lack of skill and poise, and I am not sure we can support all of our inside mids in the one side of they can't hit targets. I know we've trained for faster crisper ball movement and I know and trust goody will back the boys in, but my gut is telling me bring in the kids if they can keep poised and find targets. Did clarry or Viney hit any targets before 3qtr time? That's our fatal flaw.

Still a bit of water to go under the bridge. While it's a slow start we are only 2 games in. I know Jacko hasn't delivered yet, but I think Freos problems are more about the slow game plan rather than the players. There is still time for them to adjust.

I agree with this. I even think the Weed would have done ok with the new system for season 23. So i could see JVR coming in and holding his own as well. Would prefer to keep TM out there though.

Really feel for the Poos and Wees. I personally would love to see the Poos and Wees get flogged for another decade. No sympathy at all from me.

Anyone know if any unscheduled praccy matches have been organised between clubs? Or are there only 2 warm ups before the real thing?

I hope he gets a crack, has a bit of X factor about him. Will also give Howes and a few others some time to develop. Nothing wrong with competition for spots but like you said if booked don't get a go theyll likely be elsewhere next year.

I think Chnadler gets underrated on this site as well, i think Koz will play more midfeild time this year and Chandler will step in as the pressure small forward (along with Spargo and Nibbler). Im looking forward to seeing some games.
