  1. That was done to Beamer against Geelong
  2. Surely this is the wrong video. That cannot possibly be the reason he got a fine.
  3. Rod Grinter Riot Squad posted a post in a topic in Melbourne Demons
This was a big banner in the crowd on TV at the end. Anyone have any idea what this means?

I really hope Grimes gets to keep playing, would be thrilled for the family if he gets the chance to run out alongside his brother at Richmond. that said, can't say I am surprised at these delistings. Thanks for you contribution to the club Matt, Dean and in particular Jack.
  5. Really? I remember Dunstall making a tackle in defence in a game when he had some 14 odd goals (16 by memory)
  6. He was very good yesterday, but can't help but think if Grimes had the exact same game, all talk here would be about the out of bounds on the full in the forward 50 that cost us what should have been a simple goal. also, a player of his skill, should not be hand balling after a mark to someone like Frost, who is an average kick
  7. What I would like to see them investigate, unless they showed it and I missed it, was how Petracca had his goal overturned. The footage they showed said nothing, the commentary said if the get the definitive evidence they will show it, I never saw it...
  8. Bit rich to say he gets away with it every week when it was his debut

May as well put it here. brilliant performance tonight by Matthew Hayman winning the prestigious Paris-Roubaix, only the 2nd Aussie to win it. well done.
  10. Would be happy if he has the same attitude to tackling and the work rate of "skills"
  11. Yes, he has had a few ordinary years, but considering how much of a shambles the Dons were in that time, it's understandable. As pointed out, if he can recapture his 2013 for, he's a bargain. I hope he can, though am still concerned about the elephant...
  12. I quite like the thought as I know how much his family would despise seeing him in the red and blue
  13. Don't get to see as much footy now, very little of Essendon. I was in Australia for the Bombers game though and was annoyed that they dropped Melksham, so safe to say that the trade doesn't excite me. The WADA issue is why I personally wouldn't touch him. On the footy side, Roos has the runs on the board and Goodwin has worked with Melksham, so if such a trade happens, I will be reluctantly supportive.
  14. I remember him at Essendon. It's why (to much ridicule) I argued that we should have recruited him on the old Demonology
  15. Completely disagree, as mentioned WADA (it's a WADA not ASADA issue now) are appealing because they think they will win. I think it is realistic to expect at least a 12 month ban for the 34.
  16. First time I looked at this thread in a few weeks. I find it staggering that someone would write to Roos in mid-September about a potential trade. Huge waste of time. What is worse, this lowlife gets a personal response and then goes to post it on social media.
  17. Looks like it must have come down to him and Butcher. They chose Butcher. Alarm bells ringing
  18. Along these lines, there should be no more criticism of BP as a recruiter until everyone he recruited departs the club. We have all been unfair on our bro
  19. I understand where Steve and others are coming from, but keep in mind going we are dealing with Essendon, by far the biggest pr1cks to deal with in the league. If they think that it is us or them, they will hold out for a second round pick or threaten the PSD in the belief Melksham will get nervous on where he will go and stay with Essendon. As for WADA, I do consider it an issue, after the way the Bummers and the AFL have behaved in the whole saga, I would not be surprised to see WADA throw the book at all concerned
