I reckon it's as good a chance as any that they'll all be 6-6, Skins, Eagles and Cowboys... problem is... Eagles won't get by the Rams... have to play Dallas in Dallas... and I don't even think they're a sure thing to beat Giants, let alone Skins twice... My only hope is that Dallas somehow stumbles (looking unlikely), Eagles sweep the rest of the division and end up playing skins to go to playoffs. Thing is, noone in that division is winning a playoff. No chance. Loving that the Bears are relevant as well. Loving what they're doing both sides of the ball. No disrespect for other teams in their division.

I had him in my sights the whole way. It's odd seeing how well WC are doing for tall players (albeit with Lycett leaving and NN hurt) and yet they went for him. I was sure we'd look at another backup ruck to replace the two we delisted. Seemed a no brainer to me. They must have seen something they didn't like. I don't reckon people are saying this enough. The list going into 2017 I thought was as good as I'd seen it. 2018 we had success, but also had some dead wood lying around in the back end of the list. I reckon we've been spoiled having been able to draft so heavily, in a deep draft, while we're currently a top-4 team. Even if only 50% of the picks we took work out, that improves us a lot. Whoa. Really? I thought the general view was that Keilty is a beauty? Interesting. He's the most match-ready, and I reckon looks exactly like a Nathan Jones type to me. I reckon every year Goodwin coaches he'll debut kids regularly. Not sure that's a good thing tbh, I'd love to get to the level the Swans were at under Roos where they use only 29 players in a season. Still... it means pressure will be on for your spot which is healthy. As long as he comes in for 3-5 games, that'd be super. I know everyone's highlights look good, but looking at his objectively, I reckon he's a beauty. Sparrow I reckon will get in, maybe as early as round 1 depending on what our other mids are doing with injury etc. Looks the closest thing to a ready-made mid, and does everything our big boys do in regards to spread, quick hands, ferocious tackling. Don't forget we had Maynard playing round 1 this year, so Goody isn't against putting a young kid in early. Hore obviously could easily slot in with Lever hurt, and a kp defender group that's hardly breaking the door down. Good user too which will keep him in the side once he debuts. You'd feel he would struggle to keep his spot though, once Lever settles. Other ones, wait a year or two, or go to Casey games I reckon.

Not only that, but if he's in the Clarry mould, he's arrived at a club where he can be taught by him. I swear the handball effectiveness of the whole club has improved since he's been there.

Yeah. The core is there. Only really massive issue now is the corners. So many picks spent on them with not much outcome from them. Yup. Almost certainly will be.

I'm not saying I'm not wearing it. It's easy to wear it while you're still reigning NFL champion. I'm saying my concern is the health of the list. The turnover of it will be massive as they've had the tightest cap squeeze over the past two seasons. Guys like Ajayi will be gone. Peters will retire or be phased out. Jenkins will be done before long. Their window was only open for a short time. I'm saying get used to Philly being stuck in the middle of the pack. ALong with the rest of NFC East it seems.

Yeah. Had just as many, arguably worse ones last year, so you can say with some degree of accuracy that the Eagles have gotten worse since then. The injuries they've copped this year are too wide spread. There was a point where I felt we'd cope, but then in a blink, at one point, there was no cornerback available who was on the roster three weeks ago. Add that calamity to the RB situation, O line problems, Wentz not as confident. It really is just a mess. Not a hopeless one, just needs a good honest cleanout and three picks in the first 2 rounds. I'm actually going for Dallas now. If they win and Eagles win... then Eagles play Skins next week for the opportunity to have all 3 sides locked on 6-6 (Cowboys have Saints). Dallas 3-1 in div, Skins 2-2, Eagles 2-1... That would at least give us the remaining 4 games to enjoy.

With you with all the above aside from that the Eagles are any chance at all. Way too many things wrong. I really think even without Smith and other injuries, Skins would only need to pinch one against Dallas and they'll have done enough. And if they fail, Dallas will make it on 9-7 or even as low as 8-8. Gap year feels about right. The ridiculous amount of injuries have derailed the season for Eagles, but tbh I really feel they have it where it counts going forward. We'll lose a lot of the superbowl team as that's how the NFL goes, but with Wentz, Cox, Johnson, some of the WRs, Brooks, Kelce and the D line mostly staying we'll be relevant again soon.

Yup. GB... The Mahomes thing... He's MVP along with Gurley and Brees, and in a dream world, Donald... I was so smug last year looking at Wentz becoming MVP and taking on that mantle of potential best in league. Already have him anointed as best Eagle in my time, and a shot at best ever. Now it's so clear without dominant O line play, and a run game, he starts to sputter. My hope was that he'd be a Rodgers generational talent... Now I'm just hoping he doesn't end up a few notches down like a Rivers or Ryan. Both good quarterbacks but not in the top echelon. Mahomes arm on that deep ball he threw to Hill. It just got out so quick and covered ground so quick. Some QBs get the distance but float it. He has a laser beam.

Gone past Dougie P already I think. Looking at the length of Fisher's career based of doing so little years ago, we'll be seeing this guy coach for decades. What did you think of Rams KC?!!

Bears, Patriots, Seahawks

Yeah the big three as far as I'm concerned, Rams, KC and Saints all have either good D or great D. I had the Rams winning today based on preferring their D over KCs... And that's how it ended up going. It takes intestinal fortitude to pick fault with two QBs who just engineered the third highest scoring game in history. lol I'm with you though. Mahomes limits his turnovers, even just has 3 instead of 5... what happens then... Dayum that was a game. My head is still spinning. They'll be talking about that for years... instant folklore/legend.

That's the crazy thing. There actually was. Donald, Houston... Mahomes had somethign like 5 turnovers... That's one of the best games I've seen in my time watching the sport.

No idea. Gurley must have a complaint, they have underused him... although going by the absurd yards in this game, it makes sense... WHat an incredible game. I'm barracking for a Mahomes drive here ending in a FG to take it to overtime.

Yeah I get that. It seems to come in waves for the Eagles. For a couple of years they'll be sticking everything, then for a couple of years you'll get crappy secondary players who go to water... Still feels to me like you've got it where it counts. I never appreciated until I saw Cox play, and Donald a bit closer, how central a great DT is to an overall defense. And they are great.

Eagles had the same record at the same stage last year. I get what you're saying, but there's no such thing as a perfect squad. You can point the finger at less than great run D, or OL not being as good as they need to be, but bottom line you're better than most teams in that many areas it's ridiculous. Saints are just a good side. Falcons last year were a good side, and Eagles only just pipped them. I feel like if you cop them again, the result could easily swing back the other way.

Dayum. Brees takes down the biggest baddest team in the comp. NFC just got even more interesting.
