  1. Let's not get caught up in whether it is or isn't in an individual's opinion. There's good drafts, and really good drafts. It's a term thrown around a lot in regards to this one. Call it media nonsense if you want, but it's out there.
  2. Picks 5+6 vs Picks 5 and 2019 first rounder... I find that interesting. Where do Freo finish next year? Bottom four again? Where do they finish with Hogan there and Neale gone?... We could potentially end up with 5 and pick 1 next year. But is pick 1 next year better than pick 6 in a superdraft?
  3. I think literally everyone is guessing.
  4. Nah. I think they keep all options open. It's just due diligence. What if suddenly the Neale trade is accepted and goes through. The trade period remaining gives plenty of time for them to look at their draft capital and reconsider their position. You don't just get up off that table in a huff. You wait it out just in case one of your opponents flinches.
  5. This is like a bloody season of game of thrones. What a mess. Nobody knows anything, but the media are ready to jump at the slightest whiff of news. Getting sick of it, tbh. Just want an answer one way or the other. On the medical... didn't his Navi flare up 3 weeks before the end of H&A season? Of course he failed the medical...
  6. Since your post, I'm posting to make the observation nothing has happened in the last 1 minutes re jesse

Yeah agree. One of those ones where whoever loses will get pilloried in the media. Stressful for fans of both teams though.

Cheers Macca. The videos are must-see each week for me now.

You haven't been watching Eagles lol. They're not what they were last year. OL was disgraceful on the weekend. Johnson the All pro right tackle has fallen off a cliff completely. Wentz was hit something like 13 times. And their D line isn't getting to the QB, which is putting pressure on the secondary. All their worst fears are coming to pass. I love Chiefs. No doubt their D could improve, and should. But with an offense like that with Hunt, Mahomes, Kelce and Hill. That's terrifying.

I see what you mean. I had them only thereabouts... I feel like you had them very high. Expectation the culprit. Gee hasn't the league stood up and taken notice of what we knew a year ago. Rams are the best team in footy.

It's only a very loose assessment. He's a great improviser and mover when he strafes and throws on the run. His QB rating is a whopping 125, and it only goes down to 90 when under pressure. But that's probably the only comparison to Rodgers. Rodgers probably the way bigger deep ball.

Rams, Packers, Broncos... Bloody everyone will take Rams this week.

I've liked what I've seen. Still think they'll be there in the AFC championship game. Gee Mahomes makes me think of Rodgers... @Macca Thoughts?

I felt for sure I'd mozzed us when @Macca pointed out my mistake. No doubt about it that was a great, great win by your boys. Eagles sucked but take nothing away from Mariota. That had to be earned and they did it.
  15. The whole club now knows what they have. It's awesome. Everyone's standing up and taking notice of Clarry. Never had anyone like him.
  16. Gee he was blowing hard in games this year. Always looked stuffed while other guys were jogging pointing fingers. Probably the wrong thread for this but anyway... I don't reckon his training habits are wrong, more misguided. They probably worked him into a place of being a power athlete as he'd be playing forward and doing short minutes in the midfield. People always say he's a Robbie Gray type. I have to say I don't really see that, but I'd love him to lean up like that. You can still be a star forward without being heavy.
  17. And we got one of those few this time last year.
  18. That's the knock I hear a lot of people, including impartials, say... They reckon he's too heavy. Simple as that. I gotta say it feels true. I'd love to see him take to heart Max's words in his acceptance.
  19. Yeah missed Melks, oops. A quick look at the list and the notable absentees, Tracca has to be the biggest. Didn't miss games, played well at times, but also went absent often enough to miss out... This off season will show a lot about what he's got. What he brings can be the exact missing element that we need.
  20. Oh he did too, sorry. Yeah. But even with Hogan getting his foot hurt mid season and never being quite right since then, he still racked up a bunch of games in the 90-100+ SC points area, albeit against weaker sides like Freo and GC... You'd think they'd have been enough, but... as I said... says a lot about how we played those last few and the quality of the list. I tell you what, a lot of players would have had massive numbers vote wise in the last two games. We were dominant all over the ground.
  21. Still. Even a close finish is a helluva drop. Says a lot about the quality of the list. Not even the guy who came third in the Brownlow could crack the top 5.
  22. Just mentioned how his Mum loves social media and remember everything anyone said including "Demonland4275"... The fact he knows the sites name...
  23. Interesting that Hogan was AA at the midway, and then didn't crack top 10. OMac similarly was pushing top 5 early on. Think about the names that aren't there, that are good enough... Viney, Hibberd (AA), Lever, Petracca, Melksham...
