6th if we win, 11th if we lose and the bummers get up. as a young developing side, we are told that things can be inconsistent. Time for this to change up to a young, brash and hungry side. The game is as important as any other, but [censored] me I want a win.

MATCH PREVIEW AND TEAM SELECTION - Round 9
buck_nekkid replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
Norths only advantage will be height. Hawks spud Obrien was used on the wing as a link man taking ( I think) 10 marks. We simply have to make each aerial ball to a tall target contested. Then it is advantage us. On the same token, we have to be careful of their rucks cruising forward and marking uncontested to kick goals. height should be the only way they can beat us. If they win on effort, I will spew. -
Looking forward to a big response to last week. Hope Milkshake plays, and ANB is carry over emergency for Sunday.

This is crap. how about a special 8 point weekend? if you have earned the right throughout the season, you have earned the right. It is a travesty to suggest that ninthmond would perennially get one more chance of making the finals. leave the game alone,.

Winners are grinners. Losers are shin boners. Go Dees. -
100,000 members? everyone who flies China Southern is automatically signed up to a country demons membership. They can cancel or get on board after that. Opt out as opposed to opt in. $100 bucks from each trip....

Did Flippers play in the development league?

So what do we know about Hogan, and why is there innuendo that he won't be back this week (or a while)? i thought 'illness' meant man flu or some such. we could replace a Kent with Hogan, if available. I think this might be a good structural solution.

Wow, great finish (and even better result!) Freo were dead men walking. Dusty Martin should get penalized 3x a quarter, but he is one of the AFL's 'untouchables'. suck the big hairy ones, Richmond. Special cheer goes out to the game's biggest sook - Jack Riewolt.

A nice strong message to those at Casey. Lets see who belts the door down for selection. It would be great if each week there are 26 guys that all deserve to be in the firsts, and we select teams from a place of strength, instead of shuffling deck chairs and trying to remove 'weakness' from our game. After the performance in Adelaide, we may be starting to change to a strengths-based selection model (not including the ruck, of course...)

Was this at the Adelaide nightclubs after the match???

Thanks, Biffen. Some perspective: 1. I give through B1G1.com. Every charitable project is audited and 100% of moneys make it to projects on the ground. I agree that the 'industry' is rife with greed, skimming and corruption, so I am really clear about my giving activities. 2. Been to more S-__Holes than most. I know there is a frustration that nothing seems to happen. I like projects that give a hand-up rather than a hand-out. But who are we not to try? 3. Your view doesn't ruin my feelings of altruistic generosity. I give because I can, and I will, in ways that satisfy my benchmarks around this stuff, and I will not give up because the industry is rife with problems, or other people think differently to me. All part of the fabric of life. 4. The Dees won last night. Go Dees!

10,000 days of access to clean water on its way to communities in Malawi. Who knew Demons wins would change the world?

MATCH PREVIEW AND TEAM SELECTION - Round 8
buck_nekkid replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
Wow, the letter dude must feel really vindicated. Will be interesting to see who travels. The emergencies are interesting: Trenners not in there this week, maybe Bugg gets another shot- even a 3 week stint- he was impressive at Casey 2 weeks ago. suggest Nev goes hard tag on Eddie, and either Bugg or Viney get Sloane (or rotating). Lever out sure helps. -
Out: JKH in : that stupid letter writing [censored] lets see if he can do any better.

Teams are going to run out of gas at different stages throughout the year with all of this frenetic running. Not sure Adelaide were exposed - simply that 5-10% drop off in this comp will kill you. (Note our first half last week). They are beatable, but they will want to 'redeem themselves' from last week. I expect them to come out hard. Jacobs is a big worry, as he will be difficult to cover as the chop out mark, drifting forward for a sneaky mark and as a big body in the ruck. However, if we cut off supply, their forward line could be Plugger, Dunstall and Dermie, If they dont get it, they cant kick it. We have to hold our defensive structures and not get sucked too high. We have to win the midfield, and halve the contests when they have the ball. We need to find better ways inside 50. We need to play for the whole game. Then we can win! When we do, I'll donate 10,000 days of access to water to a communities in Africa. Go Dees.

This pus-eating pile of dog turrds can take his letter, and his cut up membership, and shove them forcefully inside his anal cavity. He was never a supporter. What a waste of space. Have your say - somewhere like this - but we are playing better than we have in a decade - we are more aggressive and exciting than ever - and he throws in the towel over a loss by 3 points? Sheesh. A letter to the coach? I'm sure Goody is immediately changing strategy and worried. Thank god they sent the letter, the coach had no idea what to do before this. WHen we win a flag - maybe not this year, but in the next few - it will mean SO MUCH after what I have been through. This Farkwad should barrack for Whorethorn. Soft as, and fair weather. Being a true supporter is not easy, but it is valuable.

Some rude looking heads in that bunch..

The kid has just come back from a knee reco, and is 3 weeks in. Suggest that he will need to really build his tank before he steps up to AFL level. Even Dec Keilty, who Played all last years in the VFL, is building his tank this year and may be valuable later in the year, or more likely after another pre-season. Way too early for King. Keep him working on his craft and building his fitness, and he could be really valuable. If he didn't do his knee, this would likely be a different discussion. (And Flippers...even further back)

Any word on Maynard? The earlier reports suggested something around the eye? Was a dog act by Thomas. I wish him a speedy recovery, and Thomas a long holiday.
