Farewell Jesse Hogan
Absolutely. A deadline to make their best possible offer and then that's it. Worst case he stays and then we can accept whatever scrud they offer next year. Actually no, worst case is we lose him for nothing, but let's just pretend for now!

Any chance of Johnstone getting rookied? Would be nice to give him another chance.

Tom Langdon
Loved his game in the Grand Final. Hard to believe he hasn’t been signed up yet but I imagine it will happen shortly.

2018 Player Reviews: # 36 Jeff Garlett
A bad year for Jeff. I hope it wasn’t some serious personal issues that affected him. I think we keep him another year and fingers crossed he can recapture that great form we know.

Pull the trigger? ... 2018 Edition
Geelong viewpoint - Would you trade Tim Kelly and Pick 11 for Pick 7 and Pick 15? Yes. Cash in. Carlton or Adelaide viewpoint - Would you trade Pick 1 for Pick 4 and McGovern? Yes but only just. Get more value. Port Adelaide viewpoint - Would you trade Pick 9 and Pick 10 for Pick 5 and Fremantle’s 2019 2nd rounder? No. Without being Port’s list manager I would say they should hold these. Melbourne viewpoint - Would you trade Hogan for May and Pick 10? If that’s the absolute best on offer then yes. GWS viewpoint - Would you trade Lobb for Pick 11? I’m gonna say yes, Lobb is more suited as a forward and the Giants could use a quality hit out guy. Maybe trade it for Pruess and another pick. GWS or Carlton viewpoint - Would you trade Pick 4 and 2019 1st rounder for Shiel? GWS - Yes Carlton - no Gold Coast viewpoint - Would you accept Pick 9 for May? No, without May GC becomes a Crèche. Would much prefer a 1st rounder and an experienced player that can improve us right now.

It’s time to take it up a notch.

Ah yes, the stats. It's fairly easy to rack that number up when most of your kicks are inside the back 50 and 20 metres in length.

Worry about he concussions but the upside is huge. Would be happy to part with a 3rd rounder.

No.1 guy in town right now!

KK probably. I wouldn’t call May a piercing kick though.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - STEVEN MAY
Yeah probably true, more a want than a need. Also if we lose Hogan there goes another great field kick. He is a very good quality interceptor May.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Yeah because life is so cut and dry like that isn’t it?

Not sure, trying to get pumped about it. If he was a brilliant Dustin Fletcher type kick then it would be a no brainer but I don’t see anything special about his kicking from what I’ve seen. I don’t watch Gold Coast every week though.

2018 Player Reviews: # 40 Patrick McKenna
It's a shame, most would probably not know what number he wore. Hopefully life has some good things in store for him.

Farewell Dom Tyson
There's no right or wrong way, we want depth in the midfield but he may want opportunity. Always a tough choice and no one size fits all approach.
-
Jack Scrimshaw
I don't mind him and am not sure why he's found it so hard to get a game. Good left footer, feel like the Blues would be into him.
