Why are people offended when others say that Jesse might have different priorities than other players. That he may want to win a flag but favours being near family and friends and having a kick in a weaker team a bit more? No-one is saying he’s a bad bloke but this does seem to be the truth.

It’s over. I can’t see the fit for us. I really admire him for the way he’s been able to bounce back in his career and his injuries definitely prevented him becoming what he could have been. This is the kind of player Carlton should go after, not for us.

My summer will mainly be EPL and NFL seasons with occasional A-League. Maybe some NBA in there, a mixture of stuff. I don’t get crazy about Spring Racing, I’m not a V8 Supercar or big F1 guy and I’m not massive on Cricket but will take a passing interest and possibly go on Boxing Day for a few cheeky refreshments. Khalil Mack despite the ankle injury has been killing it. I really feel like he could end up being one of those balance of power players like Charles Haley was in the 90s. The Packers or Lions should have gone for him purely for the fact that they then wouldn’t have to play him 10 times over the next 5 seasons ? If I wanted to be ridiculed by everyone here I’d say he was just about MVP before week 6.
