  1. Pretty much covered off everything. Player x misses a few set shots - "Player x needs to practice their goal kicking" (With the inference that AFL teams and players never train or practice)
  2. Dude..
  3. Agree, the word culture is talked about a lot with this and surely that comes from the top.
  4. To not go through the list of big egos that have won a flag and thus making me look silly.
  5. That's a pretty good measure and checklist! Right now it's more a better bet hoping for the mids to kick 6 and Key forwards 3
  6. I'd like to see a breakdown of goal sources from Mids, small forwards and tall.
  7. We really need him to be physical. If there's one thing I want from him all game long is to hit every pack and contest in the air, I'm not fussed with marks, kicks, goals or even hitouts right now. We just need him to be a presence and if that is happening he'll chip in with some of the other stuff. These marking contests where he gets caught under it and loses balance or the number of 'nearly marks' he has. If he just clunks 1 or 2 more per game that may be enough.
  8. Completely forgot about that! Cop that!
  9. Could Carlton find a use for him? On the other hand maybe one cast-off Dees defender is enough :p
  10. This is certainly true and a reminder that things can change. Just need to get the mix right.
  11. That game really dropped his stock price in the side, coaches don't forget those ones..
  12. I'd love to see a stint up forward someday but the desire to keep the defensive structure as is trumps all.
  13. Getting Walsh in to review their football department is a positive action but when you hear the word 'culture' bandied around as a cause of their problems you'd think it needs to go deeper than that.
  14. Consider it noted Nasher :)
  15. Has anyone had much of a look at Issac Keeler? Could he be a Paddy Ryder type?
  16. The 'virus' is always mentioned followed by "Not that they're using it as an excuse".

So let's make it even harder by bringing in a 'send off' rule for Tom Stewart incidents and therefore adding yet another layer! Seriously the media has no idea sometimes.
  18. The idea was to not though, knew I could count on you!
  19. Are you the one who's gonna stand up and be counted?. Are you the one who's always ready with a helping hand?
  20. Hopefully there's some real good news in this thread tomorrow but it will likely be someone guessing whether his underpants are purple or blue and gold.
  21. This differential would have taken a pounding this week.
  22. How many times does he run too hard and almost slip back onto his butt in a marking contest? It's a joke
  23. One thing is for sure, he does have a big fat ego. Not too many big fat egos win premierships. Hopefully no-one tries to sound like a hero by naming one.
