  1. Good question, I felt like it was a poster each for Kade and Trac but might be wrong.
  2. I think the booing of Grundy was pretty audible right at the start but you may well be right that there could have been sections of Collingwood fans who didn't boo or even gave him some credit for his time, this could have given our drowning out the extra 5% it needed. I have no way of saying this did or didn't happen but it could be a plausible explanation. Whether or not it was the loudest we've been for a while I will say that I was incredibly proud of our fans in that moment. As soon as the booing started nearly every Melb fan around me got stuck in with cheering and support, some who never say a word were clapping vigorously. In the past our club would have folded faster than Superman on Laundry day, I'm so happy to see we now have some fight in us.
  3. Nice one mate, how long have you been coaching at CGS?
  4. I'm happy to keep prior opportunity but I'd like to get rid of anything other than a clear kick or handball penalised, none of this knocking out of the hands play on if they've had prior.
  5. They don't call him Positive Lingers for nothing.
  6. This seems like a very appropriate time to re-promote Ken Mitchell's book I mentioned last week! More detail about this era than you can poke a stick at!
  7. It will only take one good game for him to get back to some sharpshooting. Bit of confidence does wonders.
  8. I heard the dog ate Maynard's homework.
  9. Well let's hope Freo can work on getting some quality losses in a row.
  10. 99% of 100,000 odd members is a lot!
  11. Oh the trauma!
  12. Drowning out the Collingwood boos of Grundy was one of my more prouder moments of being a Dees fan.
  13. Plus his ankle fell off.
  14. Our pieces are all locked in. Now we focus on the task at hand. When the whistle blows everybody goes!
  15. A lot of people watching the replay today, think I will too. Fitting birthday activity.
  16. Yep, played a bit of Rugby and Soccer growing up in Canberra as well I believe. Footy didn't come along until his early teens.
  17. Wouldn't mind him
  18. Especially if it 'papers over the cracks' for Collingwood
  19. Bang on, why he felt the need to do that is weird.
  20. I'd buy the collectors edition
  21. Some things never change and never should change.
  22. Yeah sorry but if you hear any Collingwood fan blaming the loss on not having De Goey or any other injuries then tell them to get in the sea. They've had a brilliant system approach all year and won a ton of games with an injury list from another post code and next man up mentality. Sometimes you need to strip through the BS and have someone like me tell you the facts uncut and uncensored. There are no sorer losers than Collingwood fans. Apologies to the 3% who are actually good fans but the majority of your supporter base is full of it with enough bile to fill Sydney harbour 3 times over. It's not even close.
  23. No-one has less shame than Pies fans when it comes to this stuff. Flocks of sheep.
