Taj Woewodin signs 2 year extension
Shown enough. Good result. Could have sworn it already happened but I'm tired.

NON-MFC: Rd 23 2023
Freo anyday over Port. A home final is worth a bit more to me than a slightly upgraded draft pick.

Clayton Oliver: A Demon for Life
Best line ever. Clarry is Tybalt, McDuff, Othello and King Lear all rolled into one.

PREGAME: Rd 23 vs Hawthorn
The comparison with Miers in terms of role is a very good one. I would just love to see Spargo get a bit more footy and in turn more score involvements. Averaging about 10 possessions a game this year, if he could get those few extra game then he'd bank his position in the side for me.

Max Gawn's 200th
Bit late to this, been a bit withdrawn from DL this week. This is a terrific milestone. In the 126 years of VFL/AFL history our club has had 26 players with 200 games or more. If you'd told Max or anyone after that second ACL that it was all going to turn out like this you'd be sent to the looney bin. The best captain of this club that I've had the privilege of seeing. The skinny ruckman that Jimmy saw something in that he didn't even see in himself at the time. The words from Jim: "This guy is going to be different, he's going to challenge the status quo" you don't have to use too much imagination to know exactly Jim would would have said this. Not a religious person but if there was ever a story that just might have been fate, this was it.

Training Ground?
Certainly can't hurt. There would be some kind of compounding effect training on it week after week as well.

Footyology: Comment on JVR tackle
It's the botch up of the year for me umpiring wise. Even more so than the socre review, this is ACL territory and the guy was metres away with the perfect view. Failure on all fronts.

That England side was quality. They were very good goals although the 2nd goal which really frustrated me defending wise.

Shame to bow out that way but mighty proud of our girls.

Will you ever see a better goal? Foord in acres of space. I was fuming for about a split second when she took the shot.

Are West Coast tanking?
Yes and no. On another point calls for Simpson's head are rather futile judging from the number of Eagles fans I've spoken to. They back the club and are right behind him.
