Well, I'd probably agree that if you were on an AFL list for a minimum of 12 months and then wanting to go home because of homesickness then it's probably not the mild form. We'll see what happens, bad morale can rip through a footy club so hopefully he's professional and gives his best each week. The way things are going I'll probably get lashed for having the nerve to make that point but I'm past the point of caring about what happens around here.

Not all homesickness is in the form of adjustment disorder, only severe cases could be considered that. It might have been a blanket term in the past but modern psychology says otherwise. It is definitely possible to be homesick without suffering from a mental condition.

People likening this to when we got Hunter, feels more to me like when we got Melksham. I wasn't thrilled at all at the time but look what we got.
