Everyone dips, yes. But a good club will climb again in one or two years. The MFC seem to be improving, but we still do not have a steel resolve to not be beaten. That problem has always existed since i first watched the Demons in 1971. The final rounds of 2017 were very worrying. We gave up before the season ended, even with 12 wins.

The MFC bottomed out because we had no idea who we were recruiting. If we had recruited wisely, then the system would have given us some reward, but we had a CEO who wanted to control each level of the club, he did this and did it very badly The system gave the MFC multiple chances to get things right

Good friend of mine is well connected at Carlscum. I am referring to the “Get me the Good Stuff game” bones were broken that day, i was told Carlscum players were coming off the ground when rotated and saying “what the hell is going on out there” Players spoke to Ratten about it.

There is no excuse for not beating Carlscum in 2016 at the MCG in round 22 There is no excuse for taking the foot off the gas in Round 22 2017 against The Bears at the MCG, They were a very ordinary side. In Round 23 2017 at the MCG The Filth played half a side and in the first 12 minutes of the game we did not lay one tackle. We didn’t want to win enough both years. By Round 23 all sides are tired...... It is all about attitude.

One thing you are not factoring in is that the ABC is funded by everyones tax. So yes we do have some crazy Lefties on air, but we also have some serious Right Wingnuts as well. Bolt has had many shows on ABC Barry Cassidy on Sunday Morning often has great debates with Pierce Ackerman. We are always branded as “Left” but i feel that is a little unfair. The ABC is an Archive and it should always be that. Represent the people of the day, all of them. I work in Post Production where all programs (TV) can use our facilities. Extracting Camera footage. Send and Recieve files to and from interstate. Changing Codecs is now a major job. HD Codec, Youtube Codec, Codecs that will travel in emails Apps change so quickly. It can drive a man to heavy booze!!
