  2. Don't you love the internet....Watch it a few times....it's all dialogue and body language...i still see things in it now after maybe 30 watches. The Other Cracker from that period is "Performance" with Mick Jagger. 1968..with James Fox & real Gangster.....
  3. "Here is a pound note" One of the funniest Films ever made....The First film ch 9 transmitted in colour back in '75....bit of seless trivia there...!

  5. Watch a Film called "The Magic Christian" If you like that Era of British Music & Film....Amazon has many reviews. One of my favourite films, but not well known.

  7. I know more about British Bands from that era than Australian, as i was too young to go out, but i had access to a pile of albums..If i had gone to clubs and Dances i would have known more
  8. That Doco is worth it just to hear Bobby Keys chatting...What a funny guy....I want to visit that old Mansion one day.. Jack Dee has done a few movies too...not great, but watchable fot sure
  9. I have the CD's to both if you wish to relive those Moments of Greatness...Mick Taylor pushed that Band to greatness for 5 years..So glad a lot of that era material is now surfacing.

  16. Great stuff, Yep i always remember Rita's smile, even after all this time..Ch 9 was a fantastic place to work back then...Geez we all worked hard, but the rewards were good...we were killing the ratings!!

  19. Hey O D i reckon the Who were Fantastic, and hit their Zenith in 1973 with the Double Album Epic "Quadrophenia" I still give it a good listen today...they were all brilliant on that one.. But yes "The Who Sell Out" with Magic Bus in '67 is worth finding on Youtube All those great Jingles they wrote for Radio London....(The Boat that Rocked)

  21. '65 was a bad year for the Demons as we all know, even the youngsters have done there reading! But a fantastic year for the Beatles with "Rubber Soul" The Rolling Stones with "Out of Our Heads" (USA Version of course!!) Bob Dylan with "Bringing it All Back Home" & "Highway 61 Revisited" Bob was on a roll Big Time... & The Who smashed out the "My Generation" Album.... What a year for Record Player Sales....1965..& Mini skirts!!!
