So we have 2 venues that few of us use. Exactly why i think we should rent space to hold events. Save running costs when not in use

(Football Dept and Training Facilities) Start worrying about where to Celebrate later (The Town Hall in the CBD of Melbourne is my personal choice), we rent space during the football season. No point owning facilities when they’re not utilized. How often do we all go to Leighoak or the Bentleigh Club?

Having to sit next to the Whorethorn Cheer Squad van for over an hour whilst they celebrated in the VFL Park Carpark, waiting to get out after losing the ‘87 Prelim Final. I couldn’t speak, but i could have killed someone that day. It still has a numb feeling after 30 years, and people wonder why the merger scenario caused so much angst.

I tried to listen on a radio ? it was just hopeless. Basketball with kicks no injuries excellent.

I am a fan of winning GF’s in the Red and Dark Blue. The new clash strip is better than any white crap we have had to wear over the years, but i was not a fan of it back in the late 70’s and early 80’s. I bought a new footy jumper Round 1 1987 in celebration of leaving the light blue jumper behind. Sorry for not liking it. But it is an improvement on White
