  1. Win against Adelaide and we will make it. Lose against them and we are very long odds
  2. Too many technical rules. It needs stripping back. To stop 36 players running up and back for an entire match, fatigue must be a legitimate part of the game. Massively limit rotations off the bench will reintroduce tactics.
  3. Drop interchange rotations problem solved. But they won’t do it
  4. I haven’t got to that game yet. A crate of Whiskey ? will be needed!!!
  5. Great stuff. Thanks Angus
  6. Well done Jordan. Thanks for your work so far. I hope you play on next year. Your achievements in the game can only benefit all at The MFC
  7. Should practise it in many different scenarios Sue. Maybe they already are, but it certainly isn’t translating on Gameday and it could well cost us a spot in September, when in so many ways we should be worthy finalists
  8. Really well said Ron. We can all see the improvement and the effort now. We push the good sides hard, but when the crunch is on, we make the same mistakes over and over. The St. Kilda game 2 year ago when we lost it in the last minute., was So similar. To lock down a game of Momentum in the last 1-2 minutes is a drill the side should know backwards by now...
  9. Fair call, but this stuff should have been front and center over last pre season, considering what took place in Round 23. As a club we seem to be always slow to react. We are still to nice at The MFC 5 weeks to make a mark.
  10. Agreed. Stage fright that last Quarter, when the heat was applied. Dangerfield exploited us perfectly and we walked right in
  11. Good. I haven’t heard any post match. That’s the way it must be viewed. We lost the game. It was not honourable
  12. Yes it has to be looked at from the the other side. We were 29 points up.... F$&@ honourable losses
  13. Dumb Donald is Dumb Donald Hey that house in Elwood was real mate. I am not kidding. I was just as sceptical as yourself until that happened... Religion is a fabrication
  14. That’s the feeling i get Blight 1989-95 was a good coach but September is always based on defence, as he found out in those years.
  15. Not at Kardinia Park i wouldn’t i pay a lot of money to the MCC to have a Membership
  16. Different entities entirely. A mate of mine lived in Thackery St Elwood back in the 80’s. That house was haunted. The gas jets on the stovetop would ignite at random times, quite often He bolted after about a week. Human Spirits have nothing to do with Cloud Fairies. That’s just a ridiculous badly written book(s)
  17. They might get it against an interstate club
  18. Not a bad article, i agree with a lot of it. My on going problem is we still cannot lock down games at all The Port game is a prime example. We didn’t score for the last 40 minutes. Last saturday the Final Q was another shambles. The effort was there, but no structure. The team trains 5 days a week, doing what is what i would love to know?? seems it’s all offensive. Defence is an afterthought it seems.
  19. I saw it all unfold in front of me in a Newsroom as i was recording the overnight feed. Watching people die in front of me ( through a Camera Lens) is a vision i never forget. Standing room was abolished because of it. I am suprised Jeelong are still able to offer Standing room in that form (Concrete steps) Sorry for your loss. At least the cops were finally charged.
  20. BAHAHAHAHAHAHA... So good
  21. Yes Religions are all based on Cloud Fairies Norman Smith was real
  22. I get that mate. I know a lot of people who always like to stand. But after the Hillsborough disaster of ‘89 i am suprised OH&S allow it at any modern stadium.
  23. I have never been to Kardinia Park it sounds horrendous and how the AFL still allow standing room to exist is mind boggling
  24. That was my first thought, reading the article right now
