  1. I have retired from the TV ? Game. After todays Media news i got out at the right time
  2. That’s up to Ross. But 36 players can run up and down the ground and congest the ball, because all players have the oportunity to rotate off the bench. If ther was 5-10 rotations per Quarter for each club, then only midfielders would be rotated. All other players would stay in positions more. Positions on the ground should be a part of Australian Rules
  3. Win against Adelaide and we will make it. Lose against them and we are very long odds
  4. Too many technical rules. It needs stripping back. To stop 36 players running up and back for an entire match, fatigue must be a legitimate part of the game. Massively limit rotations off the bench will reintroduce tactics.
  5. Drop interchange rotations problem solved. But they won’t do it
  6. I haven’t got to that game yet. A crate of Whiskey ? will be needed!!!
  7. That was my first thought, reading the article right now
  8. The MFC’s main problem was not capitalizing on the new TV ? coverage that began replaying games in the mid 60’s. We were very rarely on TV when i was a kid. I watched everyone else. I saw the Demons at the ‘G in colour, all the other teams i watched on TV in B & W
  9. Very strong Masonic Heritage out there too...
  10. I have spent months in the Kimberleys. It’s fantastic. But it slows you down very quickly. I have never sweated like i did up there, and that includes all of my trips to Asia
  11. Huge success in the 60’s and 70’s when TV Replays first started. Richmond were always on. Families stuck. When i was a kid the Footy Replay was HUGE. Before recording capabilities, you only had the one chance to watch...
  12. No worries. You live there. So you love it
  13. I know about TV ? Exposure. There are many ways to view a TV Signal, but all of those numbers are still way smaller than the Free to Air Figures so our exposure in Darwin was relatively small, compared to if it was on FTA.
  14. You can talk!! take a walk and keep going going going.... As a paid up Member i can voice my opinion...
  15. No, it’s a Rupert Murdoch subscriber Network
  16. No. I don’t like convicted drug cheats in my team, but i will cop it
  17. I wasn’t at all happy when 2 banned players were recruited. But they have served us well without putting a foot wrong. I will cop that. May they play September...
  18. TV Exposure?? the game was on Foxtel Free to air TV was busy with Cooking Shows
  19. Yeah ok. Whatever you say....
  20. Yes we know its Cash $$$, but there are other ways to generate income streams and no it is not utter rubbish btw...
  21. Maybe you haven’t been in the Red Center. I have and it changes the bodies metabolism, even for a short time. I would rather those 2 HOME GAMES were played in Melbourne
  22. Gives the opposition a massive fitness advantage. It’s all been said. People either love it or hate it I would much prefer 2 home games in Melbourne. Better value for memberships and no extra travel strains on the team
  23. Share it around The AFL. I don’t see any large clubs ever involved. They don’t go near it by choice
  24. Yes. It simply must go. We need every bit of luck and planning to go our way. This fixture, if the AFL want it, should be rotated through ALL Clubs
  25. Effective is a good word when recruiting
