This year has been a major disappointment, through the bad losses we have also seen a Couple of Superb Performances, so the Club is capable of Beating the Best. Fitness and Attitudes are just not high enough, along with very poor list management

This is exactly why scoring efficiency is so important. Kids want to see fast plays and Goals, on a regular basis. That’s the game. Defending is important of course, but the Goals are remembered The MFC simply must get the Forward connection and Forward Structure sorted by next season.

Wins like yesterday are good for the Kids, the new Young Supporters @dazzledavey36 being a case in point. Good Crowd, lots of colour and motion. He won’t forget it either. I vividly remember the first Demons game i saw Round 1 1971 v South Melbourne and we absolutely pumped them, after the Game i got taken into “The Rooms” and actually got to shake hands with players. Met The Coach Ian Ridley, who wore the long Trench Coat, like Norm Smith. Great Memories for a 7 year old. Kids don’t forget Tom Sparrow won’t forget it either…
