Possibly the most unanimously approved post you have ever put up on Demonland.

Can I say this though, I don't dilsike their players, it is the club and the supporters.

    I HATE the whole Package

I nearly went feral years ago when Earl Spalding went there and helped win them that last Flag…

  2. RIP THEIR HEART ❤️ OUT DEMONS.

I see that SEN are again running “Blues Radio”

I want to hear Andy Maher as a blubbering Mess in the last Quarter. I HATE Carlton, haven’t been anywhere near that stinking arrogant Suburb for years

Remember the opening Scenes in “Underbelly” from the Grandstands of Princess Park

Cheated for 30 years and laughed

    RIP THEM APART

Any danger that these clowns could fund something themselves  ?

As far as I'm concerned the only appropriate use of government funding for Geelong would be to build a decent bypass around so none of us need to enter the bloody joint.

Has Jeeelong ever paid for anything itself

    FFS😡

It is hard to think of a better one.

And just looking at the Frittata sealer, how much was that due to Petty's incredible closing and carefully judged spoil?  Not recorded as a goal assist but it certainly was.

Probably Harrison's best game - even despite his 6 goal haul v Tigers last year.   His work up the ground was impressive and vital.

Now if that is not recorded as a Goal assist to Tracc, the entire system is wrong

If you weren’t convinced that Robbo has no idea about footy, have a listen to him on 360. He thinks Fritta plays for too many frees when Gerard posed the question where Fritta rates as a forward.

I also sent a text to SEN early this morning about Fritta being in a convo for one of the games best forwards. The host said he needs more consistency.
This bloke is severely underrated still.

In the top 5 for most goals since 2020.

Is this on Youtube at all? Trying to find it

Robinson is a complete fool, as we all know. It is astounding that he is still employed. Sad indictment on the industry

Goodwin has been appropriately praised for the coaching in this game.

imv, McQualter's impact on our 2024 game style and this week's tactics is being terribly under rated.

McQualter has made a huge difference in the Box, no offense to the Yze, but it is a very different style now

If they were paid in a similar way to players and I mean quite well. Then the incentive is too not make a mistake and keep getting a game to umpire  each week . And therefore a hell of a lot of money.  The best umpires get a high profile, the best games and the best sponsor ship.
the cream will rise to the top.
how can you have professional players being dictated to by part time actors.

Full time umpires. It’s the only way forward. They become accountable and if paid enough, you will get more people willing to do that job.  In all grades,

and I have umpired but at a very low level. I used to call the game in my head and go with the first thought.

I think Umpires should be available to The Media, would make a big difference.
There are too many cameras on the field now, to hide behind mistakes

What a load of rubbish.  North will spend years on the bottom, they'll get a lot of top draft picks then they'll move up the ladder and then they'll play finals.  We've seen this story many times before.

They’ve already spent years on the bottom, this year will be number 5. The won’t get a lot of Top End Draft Picks, because other Clubs will demand their share.
That includes Tasmania, who will get priority for at least 2 years

We haven’t seen this story before, that’s the point

I don't like his chances SW but i applaud your optimism.

Averaging 1 hit out to advantage per match during his career so far.  Albeit on limited minutes but he does play up to roughly 20% time at CBs in some matches.

He's ok as a neutralizer chop out but surely not tall enough @193cm to be anything but that?

I get what you are saying, but he is extremely athletic so it’s interesting to see where he will end up.

  10. Daicos kicked a great goal, huge crowd, final play,

But Fritta’s goal was by far the hardest, there was no luck, he put massive spin on that kick, to get exactly that result

Fantastic Skill Bailey, Goalkicking practice is still badly needed after the second and third quarters.
    We were 5.14

Watching the replay repeatedly you also grasp what a great moment Petty had there. Read it and reacted instantly then absolutely pounded the grass flat to make the distance to spoil that pass.

A little cherry on top of a great (touch-wood) return to form.

Yep. That was just as much Petty’s Goal. If he doesn’t punch that ball, Jeeelong are out and running

It's astonishing.  Four umps are unable to see a player fending, having prior and incorrectly disposing on so many occasions.

I get they will miss a fair percentage due to having their sight obstructed and so many around the ball.  Not expecting perfect outcomes by any means.

Mac Andrews just then.  It bounces off both of his hands.  McCanerny then sharks the spill, claims it as a mark and is paid!

Four umps and it happened about 30cm or so above any other players so zero line of sight obstruction.  Yet not one ump has the courage to over ride the original decision.  Imagine that in a major final or a match that decides if you play in one or not.

It's that bad we absolutely should bring in a Captain's call.  Give them at least two reviews in a match which only expire if the Captain's challenge is incorrect.

Pendle's 45 meter kick on right angles from the middle that was 100% deliberate ...ignored.

Razor's explained that rule so many times.  If you don't kick straight ahead and you kick off the line towards the boundary and no one is close enough to have a plausible attempt at taking possession... it's a free kick.  May have changed the result.

You can’t have Captain’s Call. It won’t work. It will be used as a tactic.
The Umpires need to be Full Time Professionals

    and far better Educated

Brissy, namely Zorko, caught on at least two occasions attempting to fend off.  Sometimes breaking the first tackle.  Then caught again, drops the ball to his feet yet "play on" is the call.

Umps are killing the game and continue to refuse to award good tackles time and time again.

    Who's teaching them this rubbish!

It’s getting worse and the Cameras are getting sharper!!!

Same with incorrect disposal, that is not hard to ejudicate, So do it

Reward the tackler, if it is implemented correctly
