reckon our fitness is a much bigger concern than the game plan. We wilted badly again in the 4th quarter today.
Of course itâs on the Coaches, itâs been the same return for 3 seasons
That doesnât excuse the players at all, but this is a gameplan flaw. It happens regularly
Fitness is way offâŠ.

Just now, Adam The God said: You realise we led just before 3/4 time, plus had 4 more scoring shots than them to 3/4 time. We. Had. Them. On. Toast.
if you're gonna have a pop at least show you have a feel for the game.
We've completely changed the way we move the footy.
We have had multiple entries into the 50 for 3 Seasons for atrocious returns
You have a Team on toast when you maximize opportunities
The entire Football Department needs a serious shake up. Not fit enough and not mentally tough enoughâŠ.

GotchaâŠI wasnât able to see the game live, which is probably fortunate, as i have seen the same game so often

Just now, Disco InTurno said: We absolutely were the better team.
But you are right that the key forwards are a problem. We dominated for 3 quarters in nearly every aspect of the game except once we had to do something with it inside 50.
I understand what you are saying, but we have been shocking up forward for years now, so itâs obvious the Club is not learning from mistakes and experience.
We are just repeating bad habits.
The Forward 50 is where the cream should riseâŠ
This Coaching method is going nowhereâŠ

1 hour ago, BoBo said: You might be missing my point.
Iâm not saying (or would even argue on the merits of the act in isolation) that he should get suspended.
Iâm saying that if Archer (chuck in Curtis from North as well) got 3 weeks, then the Freo player should get something.
If he doesnât then the MRO/AFL is being inconsistent.
Which it is.
To be perfectly clear, I donât think any of them deserve any weeks. Including the Freo player tonight.
You could be right, i am not arguing
I am just making the point that, that particular incident was a genuine 50/50 with both players genuinely going for the ball, there was no malicious intent from either player, so i would find it difficult to suspend a playerâŠ.

3 minutes ago, BoBo said: If Archer is suspended for 3 weeks then (Clarke was it?) also needs to go. He didnât have to jump into Shultz.
And I also am not saying it should be a suspension, but if players have to take âreasonable careâ then he has to be gone.
No suspension. Both players were committed

2 minutes ago, Demon Disciple said: Longmuir has to be about on his last legs as coach of Freo, surely?
With the list he has, they should be doing much better than their current output. Their game plan is worse than ours.
The Shockers are having a crack, but they are also hoping for something to happen rather than creating it

POSTGAME: Rd 09 vs Hawthorn
in Melbourne Demons
Our Forwards are not being Coached correctly or PREPARED correctly
Some of that is on Goodwin, and some on the FD
When have we seen improvement in our forward 50 craft since the GF??
Itâs not helped by a Pathetic VFL fixture, but other Clubs have that problem and seem to function up forward, but not us
Simonâs Learnings obviously do not include the Forwardline, it has been neglected for 3 seasons
6 Goals to 3/4 time on a Sunny afternoon when âsupposedlyâ we had them on toastâŠ
What Rubbish
Other Coaches in the AFL would have sorted our Forwardline massive inefficiency in one preseason. This Season the problem has actually got worse, because we cannot run out 4 Quarters
Intense pressure for no rewards takes its tollâŠ
