Seems that sales are the norm but it should only be for a "neutral" ground.
The WA govt buying Freo a home game was not a great look.
Then again the SA govt bought one for Adelaide and Port
I hated selling Home Games to Brisbane, i don’t care what the Financial gains were.
Find an alternative Income Stream
Same with the NT, i have no problem spending time up there during preseason, but selling Home Games is just not right.
We give ourselves a disadvantage every Season

If the Woods wanted to buy Traccs contract he was gone. Contracts are becoming meaningless except as a salary cap disadvantage, and causing a feeling of inequality and reducing ability to advance amongst other players
Are we more settled in the board or CEO position this season.
How was Roffey treated, is the hand over to Steve Smith going to go smoothly.
Don’t always believe the Media coverage Kev
I worked in that industry for over 30 years
Roffey’s interview on Radio was self explanatory

If the big contract players were the answer to our woes, wouldn't we be doing well already?
Poor distribution of the slice of pie, leads to dissatisfaction. Others may believe different to me, but we are an underachieving club, and there has been a poor culture for some time.
With Kossie now on a big contract will we change and meet more of our potential? My guess is no.
If all our Top Line Players signed large contracts to play with other Clubs, we the Club would be going nowhere fast.
Which is exactly what happened after 1964, The MFC did not change with the times until it was too late
You have to spend money to make money @Kev Rule number one….

9 years is a long time and yes it is a risk, But it is a risk The Club had to take. What the Club must do now is make sure Kozz stays focused on his Job.
We have to aim higher and not get complacent, the Forward Line has to get more efficient around Kozzie
I want to see Kozz staring in September, that’s when he and the Club will earn the real money.
If Kozzie had left and was playing with LJ at Fremantle, that would have been a real downer, so we had to keep him.
My only concern is whether it hinders us recruiting better Forwards into the Club in future….

His plans completely nullified Elliott and Hill, and stopped the Collingwood run pretty much in its tracks for most of the time. Not his fault that we can't kick fit goal, And lost free kicks 29 to 20. Or that Max did an absolutely terrible kick at a crucial time. But go ahead and bag Goody....
But it’s bad kicking every week
Ever since 2022

in Melbourne Demons
Well i hope the Board are planning big changes in the off season, because the current Football Department is an absolute shambles and will go nowhere from here.
Big Decisions….
