I feel compassion for Liam & the situation he is in. I have spent time in the Kimberley region, so have a tiny understanding for how life struggles on up there. But i also feel short changed as a MFC suppoter & will be [censored] off if Liam Jurrah lines up for Port come round 1. He was not a free agent so the Power should have given something for his service (if he is drafted). For the right reasons we invested time & $$$ into Liam's welfare & our own understanding. To be left with an empty locker i think is wrong.

fair points RobbieF, just as long as we do not accept those close losses as good enough. Like those 2 games against against the Filth in 2010 we should have won both but didn't & then were not fit enough to keep up that form. 22 hard rounds is what the side must be equipped for.

considering what we have been sold since 2007 yes it will be an improvement, but still not good enough with the draw we have been given. 10 wins is my pass mark. The bottom line we should expect.

I will not be happy with 8 wins next year. I concede it is a possibility, but it will be judged another fail in my eyes.

what is there to like?

if the club is truly professional our new list will "click" as players will be given specific jobs to do. I will not accept a season like 2012 again. There are far more constructive ways to spend $1,000 on a membership than on that rubbish. Essendung was the only legit win. Our list must learn over summer and be ready to go. Excuses are not on. Those players have been shown the door.

Can't believe the general love this club has been granted in here. The AFL created this team to win finals to make $$$ from a region that doesn't really give a shite. Hate them with passion please.

2013 is actually a very hard year for a prediction. Because our list is just SO different. I am happy Moloney has left. He retarded the engine last year for whatever reason. Jones is now the general. The forward line with Dawes is a completely different dynamic. Opposition teams will now have to totally restructure the defence to play on us. If the attitude is rock solid i can see rapid improvement. But will they all gel? 2013 is a true wild card that certainly will not be over by half time Round 1 like 2012.

yes. Stalag 13 has had access to MFC Hard Drives for weeks now & not a word has been said. This is why i am now reasnoably confident that there is nothing heavy to throw at us. Wilson has written her own versions of events which i hope will burn her down the track. Not a word has been said.

'88 was a great season but the GF was like meeting the Cray Brothers in a dark alley and waking up in hospital the next day. The previous weeks are a distant memory. I nearly died during the Elimination Final...that was too close. Beating the Filth at the 'G in September in the first semi was a most glorious beautiful moment in human evolution. I almost understood how my dad had felt 30 +- years earlier...But the GF killed all that spirit. That was a long summer.
