Totally Agree with this. When this whole proceedure was started i thought the AFL would have solid evidence to put us and others to the sword But as the months have passed that feeling is no more because i don't think the AFL even know what to charge us with...and if they do, they are well aware that the MFC has a legal team ready to rip them apart. This is where the media has it all wrong...That C...t Denham said this morning "The MFC Bears MUST be punished..." How & with what i am still waiting to hear. But as i have repeated adnauseum on here IF the AFL do find damming evidence against the MFC we will cop an absolute beating for this i have no doubt. I don't think they will find anything so have not lost any sleep.

Haha that was genuinely funny (well almost) IF the AFL find the MFC guilty on a charge that legally sticks we cop the wack...yes that is my stance. We all know the objectives of 2008-09 was to win 4 or less games each year. But was that wrong? At this stage of the investigation i do not think the club will be charged because of too many grey areas.

No i have never said we are guilty at all. I am glad the investigation is taking place because i want the issue put to bed forever. If the club is found guilty then yes we take the wack. But i don't think we will be charged because Bailey did not tell the players to back off. I hope that is clear for you Steve. Yes we spent 2 years chasing only 4 wins per year but with the rules the way they were was it against the rules? I doubt it.

2012 was seriously the year from hell so even if some of the figures are "managed" a little it is still a great effort to still have the head above water. I was expecting a much worse bottom line. It didn't happen.

Bottom line is we have to start winning games and i believe the club can grow reasnoably quickly. But we have to start performing on the grass. Coach Neeld is aware of this.

Yes we still have a long way to go. And no we are not out of the woods. I think everybody is well aware of that. But we still made a tiny profit in a very bad year. I am proud of the MFC for doing that. I hope that the profit for 2013 is larger. Chin Chin....

Yes DL as long as you don't suggest the Elsternwick Hotel. Nobody goes there & there is no parking. The club is better off hiring out rooms for such events at this stage. Pubs are going under more now. Licenses and security costs have sky rocketed.
