  9. i don't think you'll ever get a satisfactory unequivocal answer. bit like the old resignation vs pushed or the no choice option officially it was ultimately his decision but i don't doubt there was huge pressure from other sources including especially the afl. i wouldn't be surprised if there was a confidential agreement/settlement that you'll never get to see in entirety
  10. mro officer - ex filth player tribunal chairman - filth supporter afl - dreaming of $$$$s media hacks - out to lunch after checking if their bread was buttered

  16. crows were just setting the scene for a serious push probably end this year or next. they dangled the big money to harry but never made a serious (commensurate with salary offered) trade offer to mfc. now they think they can control the narrative all this year, building up the pressure. the media obliged as usual.
  17. think they are swans players wearing the 1905 strip
  18. i was thinking more bonnie tyler 🤣 but toss in some irish dancing steps and nobody would notice the lip sync or croaking
  19. a teenager rang up the radio. said she got tickets at $1200. She's got tickets for all 3 concerts. Her family of 5 are all going to first one. and ... she's been to 4 previous swift concerts (presumably overseas). now 7 tickets at $1200 is a heck of a lot of spondulaks. even 1 ticket at $1200 is big time, and considering most attendees are young teens the bank of the parent must be working overtime in times of inflation and thrift it all seems way over the top
  20. i'm curious to know if the mcc administrative staff had to move out too? can't see why they'd be different

  24. it was more than just kill 1 in 10 for a group the military unit to be decimated (due to rebellion, performance etc) was spit up into groups of 10. within the group of 10 they drew straws to determine who would be killed. then the other 9 in the group had to kill their comrade who drew the short straw.. tough love, huh today, in common usage, decimate tends to used for more like 10% surviving rather than being killed
