I think there will definately be an adjustment. Viney and Gus have stepped up big time and the midfield had been humming. Of course clarry makes us a better team but there is a chance we take a while to click and that subconsciously other players in the midfield may drop off slightly as a result.

Agree Smith is the perfect sub. He already jumps higher and uses his athleticism advantages really well. These strengths are even more pronounced against tired players late in a third or fourth qtr

IMHO he will be at least the year after next, very light frame. Takes a good mark at the highest point. Decent kick and skills but yet to impose himself on any game I've seen. I do worry about his level of attack on the contest, but that may come as he gets more confidence in his body. Been a more traditional inside 50 forward in his junior days and this year from what I've seen

Promising two forwards on the way back in tmac and fritta. Tmac if he is unhindered could fill the petty void. BBB unfortunately is done. Injured in the Casey bye round. That knee is just not going to get better. Wouldn't surprise if he pulled the pin. Been a great player and a premiership one at that.
