firstly yes im a bruce fan... but im happy to admit hes not in fantastic form but hes been playin alot different role this year! i thought he was really good in the second half yesterday. was at the game yesterday when some idiot in front of me, a melbourne supporter abused bruce when he had the ball in the middle of the ground he shouted "ull never get the captaincy" he handballed to dunn who kicked to mcdonald who then bombed away inside 50 for the second time in the final qrt only for maric to take an uncontested mark for the second time.... hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm im not questioning mcdonalds game he was fantastic! but he had somthin like 7 clangers! and all i hear is how bruce butchered the ball all day! yesterday someone posted how [censored] he is coz he "missed the setshot" wat did we kick 7 goals 15 or somthin!!!!! dunn bennell bruce all missed good chances find somethin else to complain about and enjoy the wins for gods sake!

i was going to start a similar thread... personally i think Rivers has little or no future at the MFC i think he will end up like mclean (never fit & will be on the way out soon) would not be surprised if hes up for trade or in the pre season draft come years end

i think it was just abit of a freak accident.. mcdonald did really well not to fall into his back and give away a freekick... Rhino is correct, the AFL should /would look at all incidents where there is potential for serious damage, that being said u would think they would be quick to dismiss any wrong doing by bartram, mcdonald and (Newton?) i was at the game but i think it was SEN i was listening to at the time, and one of the comentators didnt seem to impressed by the tackle.

i guess noone has the footage then ? the AFL has lost its marbles in regards to bumps and suspensions nobody knows where they stand... 3 goals with crouch on !! Crouch was barely sighted he didn't earn the penalty but he earnt the reputation to be a good penalty take! And he put it in calmly! Crouch is a great impact player to come on around 60-70 min mark if the team needs to mix it up. But keane virtually plays as a very attacking midfielder he gets on the ball more than crouch and Defoe. I dunno if u watched the game? But I don't really need an argument keane scored 4 , could have had 5 or 6 and created 2 chances for Defoe and one each for Lennon N crouch

omg! give it a rest! give me every player that has been drafted at number 11+ for every year (potentially we can pick any player from those 22 years that had gone after pick 11) and i willl pick 100 players that are better than brock. brock is gone! and its great! he deserved a pay cut! and he is complaining about negative roles... maybe if he was better he would be the guy the opposition club would be looking to asign negative roles on

great! for years ive almost hated mclean because this forum! he was so over hyped it was CRAZY! i have wanted him to be traded for many years..i however didnt think he would leave at this stage of his career but WOW! i thought he was a real football romantic and would deff try stay a 1 club player. the fact that he requested really makes me interested to hear the full story. His service has been good, he has done some wrong things and some really great things (10k) Sadly he will not really be missed

very much an overrated player at this stage in his career good to see him back on the track tho

when u say the whinger im guessing u mean Keane... and we play him because he is more flexible than crouch and not one dimensional! keane may be abit out of form but its because he has been played out of position and defoe is selfish as u will get crouch has twice hit the bar of keane crosses this year btw that being said i woud like to see a sub at half time every game almost so Pav crouch defoe and keane can all play together at some time i think the real problem is huddlestone... i would rather see bentley or dos santos modric will be back... we played 2 of the best opposition yes it was sad to lose but we could have easily lost with our best side in.
