Can play.
Don't think we'll go for him though.
Wierd they've announced it now why not wait 2 weeks till the end of the year
-
Scotty Clayton last night said he'd take Natanui with #1.
Still managed to say Watts will be a star in his own right but the upside with Natanui is too great to be left wondering what if?
-
This has Neita 3000's approval
-
No freaking way.
Can't wait to seem him back in the team.
With the rise of Warnock, Garland and Martin it will allow Rivers to play on a player of lesser abillity providing run out of the backline as well as zoning off. Trust we will not get rid of this guy

According to stats.rleague.com/afl/stats
the side Hawthorn put out yesterday had an everage age of 24y 271 d with combined match tally of 2288 games.
Richmond 23years 271 days combined match tally of 1826
West Coast 23y 197d match tally 1705
Carlton 23y 218d match tally 1797
Melbourne 23y 132 d match tally 1456.
These are different to chooks so I'm not sure there if they are 100% correct. Anyway what remains obvious is that we are fielding the most inexpierenced and young side in the AFL.

Ppl forget Jones is only in his 3rd year.
The man will look alot better with some polish skilled runners around him. Trust me, he'll be vital when were up and running.
-
The whole match was played at the intensity of a VFL 2nds game, so the 80% effeciency was hardly outstanding.
I'm hoping like hell that Morton becomes the elite player that we sadly need, but he does things that lack polish, and age can't excuse. I'm not surprised that he hasn't been nominated for the NAB Rising Star prior to this round.
Palmer and Morton are on a par with their foot disposal, but the difference is that Palmer is pretty much Freo's no. 1 on-baller, and is targeted by the opposition far more than Morton.
Wow. Do you go for Melbourne?

Thanks for the update.
Kids at junior level often get to play in different positions which is great for their growth. He played CHB last week. It wouldn't help him if he was stuck at FF for months on end. He'll end up as a CHF I suspect, but he has the pace, skill, and evasiveness to be a mid. He's an amazing prospect.
I also read on bigfooty it was his 3rd game in 6 days!

Good work Chook!
-
I don't understand how Morton is not mentioned in the same light as Cotchin and Palmer has had just as good of a season.
The bloke is built like a pencil and is averaging 18 disposals a game. To put it into perspective inhis first year he is light years ahead of McLean and Jones.

Played an extremely good game today and will win our B & F by the length of the Flemington Straight.
What is Sydney offered pick 14?
I would definitly be conflicted.
-
can find that out for you on Monday!
-
I reckon Bartram should give #3 to Watts.
-
This is freaking great news.
Let's screw Freo. Get him in the pre season draft. If they want something give pick 90 odd lol.
There is now way we'll give him any of our first 4 picks.
-
I had a laugh Axis.
-
ummm no. what part of youth policy don't you understand? Something that McNamee couldn't grasp
Sorry I didn't realise you're part of Melbourne's list management team.
-
Good to see them playing a mobile half forward line there with Dutchy.
-
Neita, careful mate you could get lynched by the mob who are about to read this post. Green is in a great position to win the Best & Fairest this season. I doubt they will look to trade him, don't you?
Yes I agree.
Perhaps I should have been a bit more carefull with my words.
This is purely hypothetical!
-
Ward plays for the Bulldogs. Has recieved a bit of publicity cause he is still at school. Had a brief segment on him in the footy show. Looks as if he can play.
-
[censored] I was caught out copying and posting a previous post that I found interesting on bigfooty !
. If you look back to the original post you'll see I had to edit a whole of crap that was rediculing the demons for not taking up this oppurunity.
Would it had been ok if i just typed out the thing myself?
Tanking is crap but this is an interesting hypothetical worthy of discussion. This scenario justifies that. Rather than turn this into a "lets burn neita3000 thread" lets get back on topic. Thanks guys!

As the title suggests Green still hasn't signed a contract. While it is more probable that he is waiting for the season to conclude it does create some reason to have a discussion on his worth come trade time.
Earlier in the year when Fat Thomas came out and said Sylvia requested a trade to his hometown club of Adelaide
he also stated Brad Green would be packing his bags at the end of the year. Perhaps the latter part of this rediculous statement is true.
I love Brad but if we could get a pick in the top 20 for him just tell me where to sign up!
-
And Melbourne 'could' become the capital of Australia.... <_<
I'm just saying.
-
The tanking debate!
2007 Melbourne 5 wins = Draft pick 3 (Morton) and 21 (Maric)
2007 Melbourne 4 wins = Draft pick 3 19 (Ward) and 21
draft result because of the win in round 22
2008 Melbourne 2 wins = Draft Pick 1 (Watts), 17 & 18
2008 Melbourne 2 wins = Draft Pick 1 (Watts),2 (Rich possibly) & 17
I doubt however Melbourne at the beginning of 2008 predicted that we would only have 2 wins at Rd 20
-
Would anyone trade picks 17 + 18 for Justin Kozzi?
I wouldn't as I think he is a hack, but interesting hypothetical.

2004 Draft has really let us down.
Bate
Dunn
Newton
All players who are struggling at the moment big time.
I know we've seen Bate play some good footy but jesus today he looks like an abosolute hack
