1) Lets keep things in perspective. Geelong played awesome last night. And last year they beat Port Adelaide in a grand final by more than what they did to us last night. We fielded a team without McLean, Davey, Rivers, Robertson, Neitz (realised he has retired), Garland and Moloney not that they would have won us the game but they are certain starters and would have stemmed the bleeding.

2) IMO it's not really to do with the kids we selected it's how were devloping them, but in future we should only pick up kids who can kick the footy unlike N. Jones

Im seriously starting to have 2nd thoughts on Bailey, some of his match ups last night were atrocious. Putting numbers back against the cats IMO opinion is the worst thing you can do. There that skilled that they can easily find the loose man and hit targets up forward i.e. Andrew Mackie. Why wouldn't you just tell the boys, ok were going to make this a scrap, every single person man on man?

I just don't understand how 22 grown men can come out and serve that crap up when some of the club's most influential supporters have made a siginificant monetry contribution to the club.

Prior to tonight I would have been devastated if Sylvia was traded at the end of the year, now after observing him put close to zero effort in an attempt to chase Andrew Mackie I really couldn't give a stuff.

I just think its so dissapointing how many players haven't kicked on. Im talking about Bate, Jones, Dunn and Sylvia. All have shown they are capable of playing good footy but if someone was to tell me they were never going to play another game for the MFC it seriously wouldn't bother me.

From tonights match, seriously the only players I would keep would be

Maric, Morton, Wonnaeamirri, P. Johnson, S. Martin, J. Frawley, Buckley and maybe Chris Johnson. Im not mentioning older players e.g Bruce, Green and McDonald who give it a crack simply because they probably won't be in the next premiship challenging side.

Even if McNamee had stayed on it's not even a given Brwon would have come to the MFC. Everyone'es acting as if it was a sure thing

This Alywnn Davey rumour just won't die down. Whilst I don't think it will happen it would be absolutely fantastic to secure his services. For ppl who say we can't have 2 Davey's in the same side, that's bullcrap. You only have to look at the dynamic due of Thomas and Campbell from the Roos, there virtually the same player.

On a side note and this doesn't really mean anything at all, a few months ago when on the MFC wesbite they had Riv's Roast, Aaron Davey was being interviewed. In it they spoke about Alwynn being selected for the Rep Match, the way Jarrod was talking about him it seemed as if they knew each other quite well, refering to him as Froggy.

If we were to aquire Warnocks services it would be great to see Jamar go to Carlton.

Last time I checked Bell and Jones dont play the same position. Each player that has been sent to Sandy has been sent to work on a facet of there game.. Jones form has been mediocre at best and his high disposal games have been clanger city. It will not hurt him to get some relief at a lower level and work on aspects of his game. Each time this has happened this year the player has returned in better form/polish than prior to their departure.

Last time I checked it was regards to form. No one can tell me Bell is in better form than Nate Jones.
