  1. If this man could string a coherent sentence together using 75% less words he would be a much better commentator. He went on and on about the strength of the breeze at the ground and said the same thing each time he mentioned it.....and use 4 times more words that necessary.
  2. This thread and the gameday thread are a reflection of the supporter's expectations this season. In the past, if we had come back from 30 pts down in the 3rd to win by 35 pts we would have been over the moon. I watched the game and was disappointed at the performance in the first half and especially the 2nd quarter. With the input the team received from the coaching staff at half time and with the effort of our leading players standing up the second half it was great to see transformation. It seems to be a trend in this season that we need time to work out what is happening in a game and then to put in place a plan to combat it. It begs the question, are we doing our homework properly in the week before the game?
  3. My opinion is that we have a look at Hulett for Weid for a game or two. I just did not see enough from Weid over the last couple of games and I would like a look at Hulett in the team to see if he can bring anything to the table. Harmes for Salem and if you wanted to make a statement then ANB for Kent.
  4. I am not one to usually complain about the maggots but they are killing us in this game
  5. Lot to like about this kid and how he plays the game. Overload of skill and vision, looks to enjoy himself out there and if you watch him when he lines up at centre bounces he is always into his player and giving him a little to think about and go on with. Always a nudge,a bump or a bit of a push but when the ball goes down he is all eyes for the ball. Another preseason and I can see him being one of the best,if not the best, in the business. The only thing I fear is that by doing the extraordinary week after week the extraordinary will be accepted and the ordinary. I have watched replays just concentrating on him to watch how he moves when off the ball and he always just has eyes for the ball and looks to get to where it is going to be. His goal was a good example. He contested the ball and then when the play moves to the boundary he trails the play at a jog. As soon as he saw the opening and that it was his turn he was so decisive.
  6. I notice that R. Sloane did not get too many votes last weekend.
  7. Where are all the Goody critics? Good moves in that quarter.
  8. Better pressure in the forward 50 this quarter
  9. Have not given up on this game. We can win it from here if we play.
  10. Damn! We are a step behind the whole time.
