Vanders was terrible, he went back hard and knocked out a Pies player otherwise: 18 touches, 8 of which were turn overs, 50% disposal efficiency and 0 tackles. At this point I don’t think the positives outweigh the negatives.

I hope our mids rewatch this game and look at Pendles, Adams and Scotchy McSidebottom to see how hard you need to work over a long period of time. Adams and ScotchyMcSidebottom have been awesome, Pendles starting to fade but really good in Qtr 2 in particular. We’re holding then off and hoping we can keep it up from here as a) the win is needed and b) % is needed too.

Personally that one act of accidentally knocking out an opponent doesn’t outweigh his skill errors and give away free kicks but each to there own.

Tmac looks like himself 7 years ago, a baby dear learning his body, it’s hard to watch. We looked so good for 90% of that quarter, again goal kicking let’s us down and then the last 5 mins we give them a sniff by being to cute.

With so many games just rolling into each other each day it’s hard to keep up. I’ve not really looked at the ladder all season and haven been pretty blasé about this game.... until the bloody game day thread pops up!!! As Josh said, we’ve had plenty of these “must win/8 point games” today is the day.

We’ll know by 5.25pm, knowing the Dees with a healthy does of MFCSS.

Good counter points above about pressure acts and Hannan not quite getting enough of it though. It’s a tough one as per most weeks, you just hope Vanders can improve his Clanger count.

Steele will get maximum Brownlow votes if that does happen. His ability to gut run all night is top 5 in the league, I don’t think one of our players can go with him let alone Harmes who’s been terrible of late.

Hannan at the moment, VdB has been very average crash and bash or not you need skills and finishing, he ain’t got either.

The boys will be chuffed, think of all the frequent flyer points they are accumulating, they can use them to go to Bali on the end of season trip! Winners!

Perspective is a wonderful thing, only one of those warmer climate games is during the day. I do think the Ess game is going to be a tough one.
