The other thing I love is I have an almost 3 yr old and another on the way, looking forward to them seeing some good teams over the next 8-10 yrs rather then the dross (with a few years of fun in between) most of my age group and younger have seen.

When Danger played his first game for Geelong and dominated I set up a “Danger Zone”, do not enter with around 50 pics of Danger and the do not enter tape. Lots of fun.

My boss is a mad Crow, he even sqwaks after goals, so much so that even though he lives in Melb he will tune into 5AA radio when the Power loses... I really enjoyed going to Adelaide with him last year for the Dees game and had a $50 bottle of wine on today’s result... I’ll be putting witches hats around his desk before he gets in tomorrow. That was one of the best games I’ve ever seen us play in my 40 years. Bring on the next 2 weeks and hopefully some great footy to boost member numbers and get a few people who may have left back on board.

No matter what Wallace said glorifying him having his jaw smashing into pieces is pathetic. I have always been appalled by the incident no matter the time or how footy was played. It was thuggery.

Which assistant coach can they sack to turn their season around? The only way the demise of a club would make me happier is if it was Ess. Love seeing Carlton in a prolonged struggle.

Totes ours but we get to pay them f all while we see if they can make senior list. People who haven’t played any footy for 3 years, otherwise they have to go to the draft.

Great point in the OP. While he still can have a bad turn over kick/brain fart he has been exceptional this season with Viney out and the team warming the engine up. Kudos Jonsey, here is hoping he can get to play plenty of finals however long he has left.

The AFL could care less about the individual, as you said it’s all about the liability, but if that protects players brains then great.

Gawn tap to Jones set plays have popped up in the last few weeks. Jones plenty of space runs around the ruck constest out the back and Gawn tap into the bread basket. Great to see.

Faarrr out I just watched the start of the Open Mike with Shaun Smith. I loved watching him play, totally committed and ultimate courage. It was a really hard watch and I turned it off, he said approx knocked out cold 10-12 times plus countless sub-concussions... he thinks but unsure. Brain damage from playing the sport, anyone who says shirt fronts, slam tackles and duty of care are silly should watch the start of that and think about his Mum, Dad, wife and kids when they make those comments. I loved the hard stuff in the past and certainly while I was playing local footy but glad it’s gone from the game.

Judd is on Footy Classified and asked plenty of hard questions, really struggled to answer them about his club. Judd then went on to say how disappointed he would be if Murphy wasn’t a 1 club player. Hutchinson is a pig of a human. They also brought up Tmac and his value compared to old mate from Suns.

What a positive, we need more of this to excite young fans and hopefully bring back some of the lost younger generations, we lost a heap of kid fans over the last 10 years.

$20 says they get least the same, if not more Friday games than us next year.
