  1. Hibberd kept a low profile compared to Lewis? No presser from Hibb?
  2. All The Way. Hot about half way through this HBO film about LBJ taking over the presidency after JFK was gunned down. Really interesting view and Bryan Cranston is such a compelling actor.
  3. Bang bang and bang, the real keys to hibb are hopefully those 3. Our current flankers are not great 1-1 but keeping the skill level up with that trait could be massive for us. Then as you say release a Salem up the ground. We saw at VFL level some of his kicks hitting leading fwds from the wing on the weekend, before the grass took it revenge on his brain.
  4. Wouldn't they frown upon batting in the crowd?
  5. Even if it isn't all of our cups of tea, not all of us were around in the 70's EH so I'm sure there is some interest out there.
  6. Abe you tend to read players on long term injury can find it harder as they feel isolated from the team even though they are at the club. They spend all of the time with the physio's and others in rehab group, missing out on the other team stuff.
  7. Ha Saty you are a master at this internet business.. Saying someone else's continued bleating is tiresome. Haha kudos.

He has a nice looking development of his coaching craft resume. I like they have gone for on paper looks like a good up and comer. I think this season will be a write off/transition season but here is hoping they can bring it together as quickly as possible.
  9. Is Hibb a "general down back"? Maybe I've just not seen him enough but Fletch was always the general I thought. I do think he's going to be a really good pick up if he comes over to us.
  10. A year to recharge and refresh, a year with no bumps and bruises... Hope it is a winner.
  11. That is what I can't wait to see streaming down the Members wing over the next 8 years in the red and blue! Zinging pills into Watts, Hoges and Weids!!! Big preseason from him, got his condition under control and it will be a different prospect from Salem next year.

How many days until we can find a coach.... Thanks Roy you fl g
  13. Dons flogs are quoting the velvet sledgehammer along the lines of: Hurley was the o e they wanted, Dons would rather pay Mc-Tip half of what Hibb wanted.
  14. Absolutely! Proven player ready now vs a pick that may take 2 plus years to develop into something/or nothing at all.
  15. There is a clear mandate to move the play as quick as possible, besides the Kent one upsides above all players were trying to play on it move the ball in to someone else quickly. Poor descisions simple as that, can poor judgement be trained out? A lot of times yes, again if you practice the "skill" of the game plan and spreading to the right space then it can. We are on the up but it is going to be a massive end to the season and preseason from the group who will be at the club next year and from a recruitment of players who use the ball really well.

Yea Sharks clearly looked overawed by the occasion and got dumped on. Pens the champs and were the better team all series. Sid the kid, so good.

If I was new to the game I reckon I'd be a Habs fan, got a few mates who are and who doesn't love Quebec girls. Pens looking good early, 7-3 shots already but the Sharks have had chances. That leg injury looked terribly painful for the Sharks player, they didn't mind showing the replay!!

Hahha to match the Rams and the Dees. I'm an Avs fan as I lived in Colorado for some time and they have just moved from Quebec and then won the title not long after. In saying that the Devils have to be a chance for you G?

Hahahahahaha I was the same. While an Avs fan, as a neutral I am really enjoying the series. Would be good to see the Sharks get up as they have not won a championship, but the Crosby/Malkin/Kessel Pens are a good side to watch. The goals the Sharks have scored under the armpit of Murray have been ridiculous! They are so damned skilled. Bring on tomorrow, game 6 flowing into the Dees game.

What a game 3. Sharks finally get a win and looked good doing it, even if the Pens could have won in on Malkin fluffed shot. Series alive, awesome. Playiff hockey and finals hockey is some of the best sport you'll see.
  23. To be fair it is just ridiculous. It was on SEN (I know but it puts the kid to sleep) as driving home. They said something along the lines of big news coming out of the West and it also says hold onto your seats Melbourne fans... Gosage did say "those comments are a fair bit of mayo" on the story but then proceeded to pump it up.
