Can’t wait for the DL podcast and all you do is ask him about Jako!

“Held”... he’s still CEO until October, unless he pulls up stumps early. His watch.

And why would he be, he is is leaving. Board decision, you’d think they’d take some advice from PJ but it’s the Boards call.
  5. Not as p iss weak as Matthews coward punching and knocking out and break faces of unsuspecting people on a sports field. Now that is weak.

11 years at the Pies, how many finals did they play in, how many flags did they win? Looks like a good get and could be a really really good get.

The CEO has nothing to do with the footy dept.... wait what now.

Greg Denham article... “Pert best of short list of 5. Took Pies from zeros to hero’s, doubled members and has expertise in new facilities with Melbourne expected to announce is expected to announce a move away from current MCG and AMMI Park set up.” Paraphrasing but interesting all round.
  10. Thousands of kids saw Matthews belt people unconscious over the years, what is the issue if he was told about in front of his grandkids?
  11. Looks like a handy developing player. Really good work rate, decent pace, two way running.
  12. Most footy clubs have an approx 15% membership churn as well.
  13. He is hugely important to us know. Those 2 passes highlighted above resulted in 2 goals seconds later. He allows us to just open up teams out the back so easily. Plus his one on one work in the fwd line allows the likes of Hoges and Nibbler to roam without a worry in the world. I love seeing him become such a good player for us after every Dons fan I know laugh at that trade.
  14. Good to see you can say you were wrong, kudos sir.
  15. Doesn’t matter if we don’t have a 1st round pick (at this stage) when you can draft the likes of Spargs and Fritter.
  16. Totes ours but we get to pay them f all while we see if they can make senior list. People who haven’t played any footy for 3 years, otherwise they have to go to the draft.
  17. Bloody ponces?! Instead of a brutal training camp these softies are having dinner in the members. And and and Goody must have been giving his resignation letter to Bartlett.
  18. Im sure others have said but filmed months ago ya pelican haha. I assume this was paid for by iSelect ie assume iSelect sponsor Masterchef.
  19. Moved to this “board”? Incredible how little fanfare Fitzy story has generated so far. I hope Ess never come out of this whole.
  20. Ha ok thought you were concerned for their well being.
  21. Kick in the guts to the club? Huh? The club behind the drugs in sport saga. Fk them, I hope it’s all a giant fizzer.
  22. He doesn’t need to be brilliant, he needs to be a good player in his role within the team. He is doing that at present, would be good to get a bit more on the attacking possessions side of things but that will come with the confidence he can lock down an opponent and then look to take off. Interetingly on the Dees podcast they discussed him training on our fwds and he said they were, by far, the hardest fwds to mark up on in the league. I'm sure a bit of mayo but a great place for him to learn his craft.
  23. Was that Tom Morris again?? Of course he will hold off, he and his manager want to get as much value as they can. He is playing good footy again and will want to string together a long period of good footy then go to the table. Smart move.... Oh nooooeeesss he is off to Freo... ppfffttt
  24. A little off topic but we had a young AFL listed player come do a day of “work experience” in the office recently. He was at Ess at one stage of his career, he was less than glowing about Ess. Arrogant was mentioned numerous times. Money just flows into the place, so they think they are special, young players just get lost in their system, on field leaders like Godard are all they look like from afar.
