Yeap, not sure he will be back under 4 weeks. Can’t wait for the review into training side of things.

He was a massive stand out for mine on Sat night, just pants one of the premier ducks in the comp. DJ now that is an interesting debate... chicken and the egg type thing, is it the mids who make the ruck look better or vis versa, over a season is a ruck really threat important etc. Without him I think we’d be a 2-3 game more loss worse off team as he just gives our mids such good service. I hope he can maintain this level for the next 3-4 years as Clarrie and Gus move into their career peaks, that will be amazing to watch.

Obviously Hibbo comes back in when fit, until then Smith is on par with the best avail. Wagner is the only one who he may be changed out with but he is yet to convince at the top level and has been overlooked when Hibbs went down. Understand the want for “better” in each position on the field but as I said previsouly there isn’t much stock on the farm at present. Smith is growing and I would be surprised if he is dropped this week or before Hibbs is ready. Anyway wrong post for it, well done ANB, he keeps putting himself into the right spots during games because of his work rate.

Hard to blame the selectors, they want consistency and to have confidence in what a player will do. Frosty has flashes of brilliance that turn into wtf head scratchers within seconds of each other. 3rd qtr he out pointed a Crows player in defensive 50, ran off him to collect the ball off the ground and just went away with it, got the old 1-2 ball back and bolted it out of defensive 50... wowee look at him go... oh [censored] he turned it straight over to a Crow defender.. In saying that he should have been in earlier and you ride the good with the oh my god that was bad. Lastly I do hope he gave it to Walker post siren, Walker was in his BFG sized ears most of the game and especially after Frosty gave away that free in the last.

The 2 advantage play on call backs really stood out to me as totally incorrect, both times we could have gone the other way with the ball. So odd for them to fluff those so badly.

Did you not see the game day thread until the 3rd qtr.... plenty of chit cracking and finger pointing and player/coach bashing in there.

Dees mate from work sent myself and the boss (mad Crows fan) a text after the game “we’re going to petition the AFL to play at the Adelaide Oval every week”. Shockingly no response...

For all of the Frost and Omac put downs (I was all over Oscar tonight, especially early doors) how many goals did their taller kick tonight? 1... well done gents for hanging in. I thought Maxi put on a master class in the ruck. Jacobs has been one of the best in that role over the last few years and Maxi dominated the ruck contest.

Waiting for the new culpa. He plays his role, we’re down on numbers and our depth isn’t great, Nibbs is in the best 22.
