Listening to Pert today on the MFC podcast he is 100% Goody is the right coach... Bartlett was the same not long ago... it’s hard to keep the faith.

Can someone cut the cable of the coverage from the G!!! I’m trying to enjoy the cricket but keep flicking back to our puss club. 3 goals.... 3 bloody goals and 40 points down. Go f. K yourselves MFC players. People whinging that fans aren’t turning up, spare me. The players haven’t turned up all season so bugger them.

MFC have just dropped another podcast for the week, Pert answering members questions. One of the first things he says before getting to questions is the Dees will have a members forum later this year where all members can come along and ask any questions they want. All the club leaders and Football dept leaders will be involved.

I saw him in the city the other day. He was yelling at a young yahoo on one of those new fangled scootery thingos.

5 years ago yes, one of my fav players. Now, maybe. An upgrade on Lewis and Jones? Too old, quite possibly. We can’t keep being a nursing home for a year too long.

I know very little of the players from that era but how sad is that notion that there may be no passed premiership players left alive if we ever win another. RIP Mr Adams.

Financially this has to have been a disaster season. Losing Anzac eve and Queens Birthday in the same year was a ridiculous call by the [censored] n AFL. Obvs the terrible product onfield has made it so much worse.

ABC radio were thrashing us, it’s not just 1 commentator.

Mr 4 is really looking fwd to finals this year... unfortunately it will be in Perth really late at night and he’ll miss it...

Cold weather doesn’t make you sick, it’s catching the virus ie like catching MFCSS it’s usually caught by a “loved one”, maybe a parent. But they don’t really love you by passing MFCSS onto you. My dad gave it to me, I’ve given it to my soon to be 4 yr old (he asked for the Go Dees song to be played this morning and we had a great dance around the lounge) and now I’m trying to pass it on to Mr 1...

Only if the players chose to listen to it rather than get annoyed by the rev ups and hard/uncompromising philosophy he preached. Im know struggling to believe our players really do want to go to the next level. #mfcss

Earl sounds like it was you. I’m obviously slightly missing what this post is trying to get across as I’m not sure what you mean by “signalling playing group content with last year (maybe wrongly)...” Seems pretty clear he was right if that’s what you thought, as in the players we’re taking the soft approach (amazing it took til June to work that out) and as usual the fizz weak fuschia players have won again.

It’s been a great season, glad it’s finally over...

From what it sounds like the “revs” were not enjoyed by our delicate little flower players. I recall a poster was at training and Macca said I’m going to go give these guys a rev up which he did. Not long after the coaching “restructure” occurred with Macca being demoted. I think our season says a fair bit about the players not coaches like Macca.

It’s Mahoney’s job to do that really ie turn the heat up on a terribly underperforming footy dept. He has escaped the heat but it sits at his feet.
