  1. You don't watch Oliver too often?
  2. It depends if Caro reports it or not. Jokes aside, clearly getting the decisions right is the biggest issue and the jury is out for now.
  3. Agree But for me personally I felt the team played without a weight on their shoulders on Sunday. I actually enjoyed watching it for once. Regardless of your options on Goodwin I think the fd needed a reset. On board issues, their responsibility is to run a stable environment and give opportunity for success. I get the scuttlebutt but for me the proof is in the pudding of winning games or the vibe around the club. And lately that vibe and success wasn't there. We'll know soon enough of it was the board or something else once the off field stuff is sorted
  4. The first 2 weren't too impressive, then bang a couple nice grabs and conversions. No idea if he will make it or not (needs to get body right), but that wasn't too bad
  5. Is taht the same bloke who pumps up Essendons season every year? Love his work....
  6. There was no doubt Newcomb would get off.
  7. This But who's to say his philosophy hasn't changed over time, just like Goodwin's would of he gets a new gig?
  8. Yea
  9. Working from home, probably
  10. I think the writing was on the wall for Tracc in 2022 when he asked where the crowds were. The rest as they say is history
  11. Haha the forgotten term? Or maybe just empty words? I thought the AFL was about fairness, not just about making money? Seems the players and administration are more interested in the latter. I look forward to new models of the game as it isn't exciting enough for us simpletons in the cheap seats. But maybe I'm just the simple one.
  12. This is pretty accurate I reckon. But it's also funny how the narrative of close games are pushed, yet the rich get richer in the AFL's version of their socialist system... 🤔 Sorry I was meant to say their "fairness model"
  13. Caro likes pushing the extremes. I like Lethals analogy better, nothing is ever as bad or as good as it seems. In fairness to Caro though it is clear the club needs to clean up some on a and off field issues. But winning cures everything.
  14. The coach may not be there?
  15. I've got younger kids and I'm now seriously considering just letting them follow their mother's side. I don't want them to subject them to this.
  16. They guy literally can't kick or has zero game sense or footy IQ. I don't know which one it it but the last qtr clanger (not just him but he's a marquee player) explain why we are so poor. No care and useless out of contest. Embarrassing
  17. I take no joy in poor North getting smashed. We've been there and it's not pretty. Interesting how the AFL just let players like Bailey catches a cold easily just waltzes in to teh cats and they are after more stars.
  18. My super coach cares
  19. Drank too much bathwater? I think in reality the game moved away from what we were good at. Teams want it fast and that's not our style
  20. Richmond are better than us
  21. AFL can get faucked
  22. Nah here u go, Umps will make sure of it
  23. Don't tell me the AFL isn't rigged
  24. The umpires are due to kick another
  25. Probably the worst set up in modern footy
