Finn Emile-Brennan
From Scouting Notes: 2022 AFL U18s – South Australia vs. Vic Country #13 Finn Emile-Brennan (Dandenong Stingrays) 7/05/2004 | 181cm | 62kg | Defender “The Melbourne Next-Generation Academy member certainly has some eye-catching traits, and showcased all of them in a promising representative outing. Operating in his usual role off half-back, Emile-Brennan was aggressive with his rebound run and kicking, displaying great athleticism to break the lines and surge Country forward. He was shifted up to the wing in term four, with his punchy ball use a feature among 19 touches.”

Farewell Luke Jackson
Does heading off to play for West Coast for big bucks constitute being bold? I would have thought it was the other way round. Taking a long term approach with your career and staying at your first club for a lesser remuneration for the sake of team success down the track and greater rewards financially and personally later on is being bold in my view.

Steven May Suspended by the Club
Went to Entrecote last night for a family birthday (booked prior to the stoush). Without diminishing from the severity of the issue and noting that the place was absolutely packed with diners, I was thinking that if a fight started at this venue, it should have been for the lack of value for the fare on offer.

CASEY: Rd 12 vs Collingwood
Judging from the telecast I think it’s actually George Grey with the extra name in the middle.
-
CASEY: Rd 12 vs Collingwood
Not Joel Smith but Josh Smith, a ruckman/forward from Casey’s local area.
-
TEAMS: Rd 13 vs Collingwood
I’ve felt all week that Petty was going to be a late out in much the same way as TMAC was given plenty of time to prove his fitness even though he was in doubt from the get go.

Finn Emile-Brennan
Still going strong according to the latest Rookie Me Central scouting notes - #13 Finn Emile-Brennan The classy defender was able to produce some outstanding dash and drive out of defence, with a long booming kick. Though he made the odd rare mistake, when his kicking was on-point, it was deadly, and he was able to run hard in transition, showing clean hands and neat overall skills. Emile-Brennan’s best kick came in the second term when he was coming out of defence and managed to nail a long-range kick under pressure. He also showed strong evasion to avoid opponents at a stoppage, and always kept involved on his way to the second most disposals for his side.
