Possibly but we had more effort in the f50 today. Petty plays the role better than JVR and I thought the absence of Fritta allowed us an extra small to put pressure when the ball hits the ground. Fullerton didn’t do much but competed and bough ball to ground. JVT and Fritta often get caught out of position and the turnover is very damaging.

No ruckman is smashing it atm

You could see we were pressing up just about 10m too high and Freo were super good rebounding off a defensive turnover. They are top 4 in the AFL at this so not surprised that they did this well.

I think at face value those two have been contributing to our woes. Not solely responsible, but the forward line functioned better without them today. I hope they are made to earn there way back.
