You can choose between the DoorDasher handing you the food, or leaving it at your door and knocking to let you know it’s there. I always choose the latter. On this occasion dude didn’t knock so he likely left the food, saw the bat then took of fearing for his life. 😅 I know he didn’t knock because my house was silent at the time and I was in the next room and we always hear when someone knocks. Poor bastard earned his wages that night 😂

I hope I never have to use it. I also keep a cricket bat under my bed. I really hope I never have to use that either. It’s a Gunn & Moore, worth quite a bit. I’d hate to see blood and bits of brain on it. 😭

Hey all 👋 have yet to post in this, the crème de la crème of Demonland threads. Thought now is a good time to post something since it’s a very quiet time in the world of footy. This happened a couple of nights ago… Got Maccas DoorDashed to mine and noticed a couple of items were missing. This has happened before and DoorDash aren’t exactly quick to respond when contacted. But this time they were very quick and very helpful, which puzzled me. Then I saw the photo the DoorDasher had taken when he delivered the food, and now I think I know why they were so quick to help.😂 🤭🤭🤭

As a rule the gates are always closed. An exception to this is Monday the 20th of January which is a scheduled open training session at Casey. It’s one event on the school holidays program, another being two days later at Gosch’s…

One example of (too) many: She was tasked with explaining why no 50-metre penalty was awarded to North in the final minute of a match vs Collingwood when North were trailing by one point and Bailey Scott marked and was immediately rushed at by two Collingwood players, Sidebottom and I think it was Beau McCreery. A 50-metre penalty would’ve put Scott in the goal square, almost guaranteeing a five-point win. What does Kane do? She publicly admits she sought advice from Brad Scott when it came to explaining this howler. Then she declares that in future she’ll not be fronting the public on matters such as this. What??! If I’m sch!ttt at an important part of my job I don’t get to say welp, not doing that anymore, and still expect to keep my job, let alone getting paid the same.

Didn’t Moore injure both Kieren Briggs and Jarrod Witts last season with a similar action? Not as devastating as the Tracc incident but I’m sure one of them ended up with a fractured vertebra as a result.

The AFL put forth the flimsiest, weakest ‘argument’ and it was painfully obvious that it was a token show of doing the right thing re head trauma. They couldn’t have argued more pathetically if they tried.

And it’s a shame because it doesn’t need any drama at all. Maybe casual fans like the “spice” added by the media but I reckon true fans just wanna enjoy the actual game.

It wasn’t good and I’m sure the match referee will deal with the situation accordingly. But what sch!ttz me no end is the relentless talk about it. I’d rather the commentators didn’t mention it every five minutes. The match so far is highly entertaining, that should be enough to keep us viewing. There’s no need for the big song and dance production. PS to say India ruin cricket is just silly.

Hmmmm, not sure Demonland is ready for such an explosive collaboration not sure I’m ready either 😂 PS: it’s a minimum 3-hour trip from mine to Casey by PT (6-hour round trip). I do it for our women’s matches but dunno if it’s worth the effort just to watch training from behind locked gates while running the risk of being slitherer-ed.

Maybe they’re both seriously deranged but the second one hides it well… for now. 😉 I have three new year wishes. Firstly, @WERRIDEE goes a week without naming a best 22. I’ll even settle for five days. Secondly, @daisycutter uses capital letters, even if only occasionally. Finally, @picket fence STOPS USING CAPITALS and too many exclamation marks!!!!!!!!!!!
