It’s confirmed training at Gosch’s next Wednesday and at this stage there’s nothing scheduled for tomorrow or Monday at Gosch’s.

I’ll ask my guy about tomorrow and Monday then I’ll post here. At this stage next Wednesday at 10am at Gosch’s is the only cert as far as I know.

From my sister from another mister… Strange training- only 8 on ground with one coach so far away I can’t see who they are and are only throwing the ball up and catching it. There seem to be enough cars there that would indicate they are all there. There’s no equipment out and the scoreboard is not lit up. None of the boys have numbers. They are definitely practising catching the ball though 😅 Ps I could do what they are doing. Can’t see if it’s Goodie with the 8/9 boys. The rest must be in the gym. Mmmmmmmm

BTW, what was Melky thinking? Shirt tucked into shorts, with no belt. And they’re ill-fitting; it’s like he’s wearing his older brother’s shorts. And the colours don’t work well together: school-shirt blue with pastel lemon. Looks like I’m gonna have to choose a new favourite player.

I wouldn’t read too much into it. Generally a player will invite about 10 teammates, (that’s been the way recently, anyways) and the same probably applies to coaches. I’m guessing some who were invited couldn’t attend for whatever reason (they were holidaying elsewhere, for example).

The bride couldn’t look more 2025 if she tried.

I’d love to be there on Thursday but I won’t be. It’s just too far to travel on PT. It takes forever as it is, but with replacement buses on my line factored in I’d have to leave home at 6:30am. All that time and effort just to stand behind locked gates? Yeah, that’s a big ol’ bunch o’ NOPE right there. But if I was going to be there I’d defs expect you to be brandishing the knackered Gunn & Moore, no bandana nor a panama, rather, a sombrero coz 😂😂😂 Besides, I shouldn’t have to spot you, you’ve seen me so the onus would be on you to find me. We’re lucky you’re here to tell the story! i have one: out the back of bum[censored] somewhere on the way from Melb to Sale, no one around for miles, driving downhill and my bonnet flew open! I pulled over, regained my composure then secured it with my Doc Martens shoelaces and went on my not so merry way. Of course it happened again (twice) before I reached the next town. Interestingly, it’s not as bad as you’d imagine. It frightens the bejesus out of you but apart from a small crack in the corner of the windscreen neither me or the car were damaged.

Cricket bats have so many uses. You can even play cricket with them!

My Gunn & Moore ain’t knackered like yours. It’s been knocked in but hasn’t really been used much. At my last house I had an old Grey Nicolls by the front door but it got stolen. 🙄

Nah it’s a front door bat. The bed bat is a beautiful Gunn & Moore cricket bat. If I kill someone I’ll do it in style. 😁
